[Prince of Space]

Pretty decent show, with some great animation and a DAMN GOOD soundtrack. Yoko Kanno owns again.

The final 5 episodes were pretty intense, but the finale was a little underwhelming (it was all a farce! Gotcha!).

For those who've seen it, how's 2nd GIG? I got a couple shows on torrent, and they seemed decent enough.

A farce? Not sure what exactly you are applying that to. In any case, the whole series revolves around how technology is used to be thinking a step ahead of someone else, so the ending was rather fitting.

2nd GIG is perhaps as good as the first season. For one, there is actual character backstory this time. The soundtrack kicks just as much ass. I would label the villains "bad-ass" in terms of resourcefulness. And there are a couple of episodes that are like wall-to-wall highlight reels of everything that is good about anime.

Not really sure what more you could ask for a show. Ghost in the Shell TV is damned awesome no matter how I look at it.

1st season starts off a slightly better than average but the last half is all excellent and the entire finale is amazing.

2nd gig starts off at that excellent level of the last half and just gets better and better. There are no "hmm that was alright" eps in 2nd gig. So yeah, it's damn good.

The only parts of her body that are real are the brain and part of the spine, as I recall. When you can switch your body out so easily, clothing considerations don't seem quite so pressing, don't you think?

It is fan service, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But I like a little fan service in my anime and the Major fits the bill.

2nd GIG debuts in September. Thery haven't given an exact date yet, but there is a strong possibility GITS returns to the lineup alongside FMA's second half beginning September 17.

I'm in the same boat as you, but at least Bandai begins releasing 2nd GIG on DVD starting September 20th.
