Just getting around to playing Wind Waker. Help!

Quick impressions:

Love the artstyle and graphics (awesome, actually).

Fell in love with the game once I got the Deku Leaf.

The Stealth dungeoun was very weak. But I understood that to be training for the rest of the game.

Dragoon Roost Island Dungeon was kind of weak, but I love the Boss, and tthe smoke and fire effects

Forbidden Woods Dungeon (now, that's an excellent dungeon) IMO

The Boomerang & Deku Leaf are my favorite items thus far.

The boat and sailing thing are fun initially, but I can see it becoming tedious after extended play time. First of all, the boat is just too slow unless there will be upgrades to it later. I mean, I can set it on autopilot, make a sandwhich, come back and will have yet reach my destination. Secondly, the boat will not let me travel in the direction I want to take. Rather, he stops and turns me around. That's annoying.

HELP!

In the Forbidden Woods dungeon I've been through all the rooms, and I think I need the golden key to open the door to the boss. I looked at the map and realized there was a room on the B1 floor with a treasure chest. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get up on the cliff where the door is located. Any tips?

Also, where was that kid (leader of the 4 juveniles) on Windmill Island hiding? I couldn't find him?

i cant remember back that far for the dungeon but i seem to remember the leader kid is hiding in the big tree - you wanna roll into it to knock him out of it

The boat sailing never stops being tedious. And if you expect to get all the secret treasure chests... may God save your soul. You might want to take a razor blade to your wrist by the end. That said, you should have got the boat teleportating thing so that makes it slightly better.

Slightly.

Heh, man, I can't visualize the answer to these anymore. I think soon I will need to play through Wind Waker again.

For the hiding game the kid is
in the big tree in front of the Windmill Town's entrance. You have to ram into it to get him out

As for your first question, have you made sure there are no bobaka launchers around? You may have to kill a bobaka to get one.

Thanks for help for finding the kid.

Amir0x, what you said was funny. Great game nonetheless.

ge-man, there isn't any of those trampoline flowers around. However, there are two of the blue, metallic stringy things with hooks, when latched onto you will drain all of the magic power for the Deku Leaf?

Does that ring a bell?

Nevermind. Found it. Didn't realized I had to advanced to the next room and cut down the big pink flower suspended in the air and use it as a boat.
