You still play like a neutral, and now I have extra reason to want to kill you.
If someone else is the arsonist, I hate you. Please die.
Why not just plainly say you're doused?

...or that Blarg just straight isn't scum
Come on man, you're going to buy all this nonsense? At the very least, this is the worst town plays I've ever seen and if we let this slide, we'd be doing a disservice to town and to the gafia community as a whole
Freudian slip, you mean. Welcome to the top of my scum list with Achoo and Kark. Is*

Why not just plainly say you're doused?
It's no coincidence Blarg claimed Zubz' EXACT role and Zubz saw no reason to counterclaim. Zubz claimed he could "clear" multiple people, assumedly because his bulletproof was intact (would he know this?) and multiple people visited him. Blarg was one visitor AND Blarg claimed a role that several people thought wouldn't even be in the game. This is not a coincidence, even if Blarg is a scum cop.
Oh, and I do want you to argue that Blarg is a scum cop. Give me your strongest case.
Freudian slip, you mean. Welcome to the top of my scum list with Achoo and Kark.
I am Doused.
You [probably] jerk.
I can understand the doubt behind Blarg but I'm not feeling it. If we are going to lynch him, it shouldn't be today. Yesterday was focused on Blarg and Zubz and we need to move on, even if it's for one day.

I can't figure out what your play is and nothing that you've done this game has struck me as being from a town perspective.
That's odd, how do you figure two people got doused in one night?

I'm willing to DISCUSS, but moving the lynch completely when these two knuckleheads have had us pulling our hair out for the entirety of the last day phase is a mistake.
Are you for real right now lol
No, I'm not going to argue that. I'm just going to say town has no business lying. Not only did Blarg lie, he lied more than once and went back on all of them. Come on now, I know we're better than this
Are you for real right now lol
Right when I thought I was dry, I'm now wet again. Oh, well, I love hugs anyway. *Returns hug*Hugs Isaac

I don't think there is a cop. I think I have an idea how the game is set up. But I have to reveal my role.
Didn't he claim to be a bunch of stuff? No, I don't think he's a cop. We have two confirmed watchers. So for the record you don't believe Blarg?

No firefighter in the house, sadly. We're going to burn, if we don't find the arsonist soon. You mean in the sense that my wet shirt got your shirt actively wet, not that you got a message about being cleaned?
*Hopes for cleanness*

I like to subscribe to the "lynch all liars" theory.
Right up until they show proof of their powers. Blarg stated Zubz' role name ahead of zubz doing it.
Now if you're trying to argue that the role cop is actually scum, put some evidence out there. Blarg laid himself on the line only when town refused to accept his support of zubz, a good and valuable town power role. When it became clear that the lie wasn't working to protect z, blarg told the truth. This just isn't what i see as scummy behavior.
However, trying to get town to lynch its role cop DOES look like scummy behavior. Again, welcome to my scum list.
Ugh, why did we get to this point?!
I'm the Cop, ok? I got spooked & superstitious after seeing I had such an important role, so my initial plan was to pretend I didn't even see my role to avoid psyching myself out as I am wont to do. That was the gambit; if I kept forgetting I was the Cop during the day, I wouldn't have to stress about it until the night.
So night comes, & who does my dumbass observe but Blarg. A lot of people discussed his alignment and how unreadable he is yesterday, so I observed him, cleared him as Town, & went on my way. Then when I check my phone the next morning, they're now claiming Lovers. With me. I was baffled & considered the possibility of a... Godfather? I'm used to Werewolf so I'm thinking Alpha Wolf. Either way, I thought of the Scum role where you don't read as Scum to the Seer/Cop. But then it hit me Blarg might be Night Watch, realized I saw him last night, & pulled the Lovers bit in an attempt to protect me. And hoping the town wouldn't see fit to risk killing 2 of their own like a bunch of chuckleheads, I rolled with it. And look where that got me.
I'm rarely the Cop, so this role intimidated me. I feel I never do it right, & clearly, I didn't do it here. It's way too early to claim but if you're about to kill me, I should at least clear the water. If we don't have a protector, I will die tonight. I will also look at one of the 4 I suspect are Scum (Launch, Fran, Kitsune, & Rac), since we know Kark is a horrible arsonist (& thus also a worthy pick). Regardless if I make it to tomorrow, sorry I bungled the role, but go after those 5 tomorrow. I'm keeping my vote on Fran but am willing to pick one of the other probable Scum or Kark.

I guess since Zubz didn't die and I am struggling to think of another non-fatal role that Blarg as scum could have that he could've used on Zubz, I am inclined to believe him now.Didn't Zubz's flip prove at least their last claim was in fact true?
Technically Zubz stated the role name first:
He said it was Blarg's role. Even then I believe Blarg is role cop (aligment pending).
Blarg didn't claimed cop. He claimed role cop. A little bit different.
Took the words out of my mouth.
Do you:
A. Believe Blarg isn't a cop and Just Want to ignore everything to the contrary.
Or
B. Believe Blarg IS a cop and want to lynch him anyways.
Because these are both amazing paths to ponder.
I like to subscribe to the "lynch all liars" theory.

Blarg spelled it out as night watchMAN, and brought up bulletproof.

But I'm confused, didn't Blarg claim to be bulletproof too?

Blarg said bulletproof to show zubz that zubz should trust blarg. The rest of us weren't supposed to understand. It's his way. Also, the point of a bulletproof person is to get shot at night. Zubz certainly tried to do that, which is why he lightly claimed to have a power role on day one. Also he upped the ante by claiming cop, to intensify his target value for mafia. Zubz wasn't doing that badly for his role, and it might have worked if he hadn't also said that bit about not reading his PM.I guess since Zubz didn't die and I am struggling to think of another non-fatal role that Blarg as scum could have that he could've used on Zubz, I am inclined to believe him now.

I seem to have missed the post where Blarg pointed out Zubz' role name. Link?
I'm the Power Cop, Zubz is the Night Watchman. I visited him last Night as I knew he'd be especially contentious after his own D1, thus I went after his Role/Power info firstly.
At the beginning of the Day I dropped clues hinting I knew he was a Night Watchman (and yes that's specifically what his Role is named as, blame the bloody host), and he noticed; I myself noticed that he must have noticed me visit him too, because at the time being the 4-vote majority soon after Day-start it seemed he was specifically asking for my help on the down-low, via his French-use & Gambit ask, to exonerate him him knowing that I knew what he really was.
I debated doing this since I didn't want to reveal myself as a Cop so early and for his sake; but I did know for a fact he was a useful PR, and very likely Town-aligned. If I have to spell out exactly why I thought so, then you should extra go fuck yourself, pardonnez-moi fuck. Zubz, don't.
Hence my Lovers plan to save him, and his going-along with it. I figured if I handcuffed myself to him, I could safely walk him out of your Resident Evil estate of stupid myself. Should've known the plan'd be doomed from the start because Zubz and my meta baggage, "partner".
You saying you were doused also?
When finally Blarg had to say the truth.
Zubz is the hero we need but we didn't deserve.
What do you htink of my kark theory? And his apparent (?) attempt to counterclaim me being doused?

I'm Bulletproof, but Zubz isn't. And it's not x-shot.
That's true. That's why I said that Blarg must be a role cop (aligment pending).
Yes. That was actually Zubz role. Zubz was bulletproofed.
Agreed. Alignment pending.
However, I don't see him supporting zubz as a mafia role cop over a town role cop, so....i'm not voting blarg today.
I knew it. But wouldn't that make him awfully powerful? But if he's scum, what role could he have? For reference. And this is BEFORE Zubz claims Night Watch.
Exactly.See, you say that, but if he's a scum role cop, this is rolling in exactly the most beneficial way right now

Role cops have been known to be on the scum faction too, I can somehow believe that he can possibly be scum too because there's an arsonist and he needs to get that arsonist out of the game before a match gets lit. But then again he tried to save Zubz.

His post claims otherwise? The one quoted by neck.I think he isn't bulletproofed. Zubz was bulletproofed. He wanted to gain Zubz trust so he shared something that only a role cop would know.

Yes, I'm doused
I already asked you to show some proof of scumminess. I am willing to evaluate anything you offer.
So far, reading the thread as it happened, I haven't seen Blarg do anything scummy.
Just gambity.
Could it be a really clever scum ploy? Sure. But I'm not catching him today if so.
For reference. And this is BEFORE Zubz claims Night Watch.
It's another gambit. This one a bit better. He claimed bulletproof so, if both would survive the day, scum wouldn't hit him and hit Zubz instead. Zubz wouldn't die and would know who hit him.
