Justin Lin to direct Lebron in Space Jam

Do kids even care or know about Looney Tunes anymore? Unless their parents have them on DVD or something, I'm not sure what's been done to keep them in the spotlight. I know there was a tv show a few years back but it didn't seem to do well.

Space jam is a mess of a film that 90s children loves because it had bugs bunny and Bill Murray. Think space jam 2 is in the wrong decade to leave an impression the way the first one did.

If this goes in production I bet money there will be a joke on how the old Space Jam site is still operational.

Lebron? Pls

No thanks. No need for this movie. Even with Jordan.

It was a product of the 90s. It doesn't fly today.

News was provided!

The original is a piece of shit.

I'm curious as to what they have in place now, or why anyone should give a shit. Looney Tunes aren't as big as they were in the '90s (and they weren't even all that big then), and the biggest star in the NBA is currently Steph Curry.

Oh I know. I was just saying provide the news and leave your opinion for the comment section, not the OP, but it's not that big of a deal either way.

Also, I wholeheartedly disagree with you. Definitely nostalgia, but I loved the first one.

Maybe the movie is about Bron turning heel and joining the Monstars to steal Stephs power so he can finally win that third ring?

I'd watch it.

The first Space Jam was terrible. Literally nobody is asking for this. More of Warner Bros. throwing money into a hole I guess.

Agree. I guess Warner Bros wants to give a new generation of kids something to over-hype and look back on with nostalgia glasses in 20 years.

Space Jam is only good for the novelty of live action mixed with 2D animation (it was like a decade since Roger Rabbit), but both Rabbit and Back in Action are far better movies.

This post is worse than all your Nintendo ball gargling posts in gaming. Feel bad.

Space Jam is the best movie of all time.

But will the Looney Toons be rendered in CG graphics? Will Lebron be hand-drawn? These are the real questions.

Why do I feel like there is a 90% chance Kevin Hart is in this film?

"why didn't they steal my skills, is it cause i'm short!?" the shot is shown with only his head shown in a circle with LeBron and Shaq

Kevin gets his usual height joke in the film and a cameo

I bet at least half of the people saying how awesome Space Jam was weren't even alive or old enough to remember when it came out in 96. A case of the internet forming their opinion on a terrible film.

This needs to be a total deconstruction of why the existence of the first film, and indeed a sequel almost 20 years later, was a complete fucking mistake.

Space Jam was great, also had no business having a soundtrack that good attached to it either.

So are the Monstars going to steal all the talent from the Spurs so that Lebron loses to them again?

The ten-year period between 1995 and 2005 was just a cesspool of awful films. Next thing you know someone is going to pop up defending Daredevil, Spawn, and Batman & Robin as being sort of cinematic masterpieces.

Who the fuck watches the first Space Jam and says it's a "terrible movie"... It's a fucking basketball movie with cartoons and the greatest basketball player of our time aimed at for kids...

Like what kind of schtickler do you have to be to have such a negative opinion about something that's supposed to be lighthearted and fun and is not even directed at you?

Hoping that this movie will be just as fun and looney tunes zany, and that Lebron is capable of making fun of himself with a decision spoof.
