The Japanese LAWSON convenience store chain began offering an augmented reality (AR) application on Tuesday that allows fans to interact with Yui from kakifly's K-ON! series as part of their "Eiga K-ON! Fair." Smartphone users who visit the chain between July 17 and 30 will be able to log in to an in-store Wi-Fi system through the LAWSON application for iOS and Android and download the application.

The application will display Yui inside the store on the phone's screen, and fans will be able to interact with the character by touching their screens, causing her to react and speak.
