And before people flame me, I don't have a bias against Microsoft, there's just nothing on either of their current machines that I want that I can't get on my PS3, which has tons of niche Japanese games like Atelier and Disgaea that I actually can't get on Microsoft. :)

Which reminds me, I totally enjoyed the doujin that Chet linked me to. Does anyone else have any of their own recommendations? My main prereuisite is that it has to be relatively clean.

Agreed.
Actually, I would give up completely on gaming if Nintendo and Sega no longer existed.
Everything else is about making the biggest flashiest movie, and I already go to the cinema for those. Don't need it in my games.

Eh how are we defining call if duty here, if we mean anime/manga that was amazingly popular to the point of influencing all other works in it's genre to come, then that would be DB/DBZ . If we mean "mainstream dreck that I don't like" then I would go to Bleach as king of that right now.

There was a call of duty anime thing when black ops 2 was coming out. Not sure what ever happened with it.
There was a big billboard out there with a call of duty anime guy.

It was a promotion in Japan between Blops2 and the anime show Jormungand. At least that's what I remember it being.

Well in that regard, it depends on if we mean strictly japan or world wide, the bleach anime is still mildly popular in america when compared to other anime, but in japan it is all but dead on popularity. If Bleach is disqualified for not being popular , and for me One piece for not being dreck (well in a particular sense of the word) , then I'm gonna have to go back and agree with Stark about Naruto.

There was an anime convention in town today. I picked up some figures and the Atelier art book <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I also made a new friend in artist alley. His art is fucking adorable. I will show you guys his page later. Hes drawing me a New Orleans Saints catgirl cheerleader :D
