but seriously though, Good Morning, Champion, Stronger, I Wonder, Good Life, CTMN, D&HG, Everything I Am, Homecoming, Good Night. The overall sentiment of those tracks is more relatable to me than the other stuff. it just jives better w/ the experiences i've had in my life. i don't get so caught up on the words and references as much as the feeling.

i can't really relate to a Spaceship for example. i understand, i love the song, but the message doesn't settle w/ me. only shit i feel on a personal level on Dropout is Family Business. same w/ LR. i feel Hey Mama, Roses and Bring Me Down. that's about it.

It means that MBDTF is a decent album that I can rarely listen to because there's too much of everything on it. It's not that this is a new phenomenon for him either. Both CD and LR were good albums with a bunch of stuff I never wanted to hear after my first two or three listens to the album.

Give me a tight running time and effective production, that's all I ask. I know you're a good producer, you don't need to show off. If you have 100 minutes of music created, just release two albums instead of making one album that's a chore to listen to.

It means that MBDTF is a decent album that I can rarely listen to because there's too much of everything on it. It's not that this is a new phenomenon for him either. Both CD and LR were good albums with a bunch of stuff I never wanted to hear after my first two or three listens to the album.

Give me a tight running time and effective production, that's all I ask. I know you're a good producer, you don't need to show off. If you have 100 minutes of music created, just release two albums instead of making one album that's a chore to listen to.

Haven't listened to 808s it sounds like.

I didn't mention it in my post since I have no qualms with it. It's easily my favorite of his albums. Graduation is pretty tight too, but it also sucks so there's that.

Not sure which part you're disputing, but I'll forever hate Graduation. The only good thing about that album is Jeezy's verse on the "Can't Tell Me Nothing" remix.
