Well, this is one of the interviews that was described in the OP and is super interesting. So, I think it deserves to be posted.
100% still an issue. Dude is definitely not right. But he's coping, I guess....

Yeah he is a bit but his wife is supposed to be a massive gamer, I can remember he was interviewing Vin Diesel once on his show and they started talking about gaming and he found out Vin plays WoW so he started saying he played it a bit but his wife plays it a lot. Vin didn't really believe him and thought he was just trying to make a joke about the fact that he plays WoW but then Ross started telling him all about his wifes character and all this end game stuff she had been doing and gear she had and Vin's face just dropped, he said something like "holy shit you weren't joking, I thought you were making a joke"

As for his mom being dead, the way people deal with grief varies drastically from person to person. Think about this; she died due to complications of plastic surgery. Kanye probably paid for said surgery. You don't think it could still be eating at him from the inside? He's been talking about his mom a lot lately, seems to me he hasn't been able to let go of his guilt.

People just hate Kanye, that's pretty much it. If I had a dollar for everyone who said, "I hate Kanye West" but love his tracks in a party session, I'd be rich. And this story exists just to reinforce that hate.
Actually I think Kanye makes a lot of sense, if you look past his egotistical antics, and actually listen to what he's saying. The social class system will still try to level you, regardless of income. It's a lot of truth in that. He seems frantic because he's searching. What he's searching for, I don't know...I'm not sure he even knows.
