I think hot sauce is the best thing to go with eggs. Either that or HP.

Nope for Ketchup. Use that on your chips.
Mayonnaise, curry sauce, peanut sauce for chips (fries you mean right?). Ketchup on fries is only ok in tiny quantities, otherwise you're tasting only ketchup.

lol @ these unfortunate Americans who don't think ketchup goes with bacon and eggs.

What fools.

No surprise though, this is a country that doesn't butter its bread.

I'm French. Nothing American about correctly pointing out ketchup will kill the taste of the egg rather than enhance it. It's just common sense, no matter where you're from.

Oh look, it's the Mayonnaise Mafia.

Eggs and tomato are a perfect accompaniment.

Also this is a KFC burger we're talking about. The ketchup is probably the only nice thing about it.

Who doesn't butter their bread in America? That's a new one.

Ask an American to make a sandwich. They'll put in every ingredient on the face of the planet but will they butter their bread first?

Will they fuck.

Are you talking about one of these "sandwiches"?

Cause yeah nobody puts butter on an actual sandwich, you're right.

nekkid

It doesn't matter who we are, what matters is our plan.
There's an "American" diner chain near me that serves steak for breakfast. So this isn't so off-key, to me.

Also, people have fish breakfasts which is much weirder.

Looks great.

Simple cheese sandwich.

I understand if you're an American anything less than 6 feet of pastrami between some bread is considered a "struggle" food, but some places don't feel the need to over-compensate so much.

We love big slabs of meat

You miss again, I hate mayo.

Also I never said tomato and eggs didn't go well together, just ketchup and eggs. Like ketchup on pasta is a disaster, but tomato sauce is a perfect match. Do you not see the difference between ketchup and real sauce?

They usually hand those out to kids in school that can't afford a lunch.

Our KFC here is out of the way in a harbour complex.... why they didn't put it in the middle of town like McDonald's and Burger King I don't know.

I guess....my health is better off though :p

The only time I have ever eaten breakfast at KFC was years ago, and it was consistent with my other recent experiences. Garbage

This looks decent though, so I'll give it a go... if I ever pass a restaurant in the morning. It feels like you have to make a conscious effort to find a KFC in London these days. Have the lower-rung chicken shops basically killed most of their business?

Also... I have ketchup and brown sauce with my bacon and eggs. It's banging.

Mayonnaise Mafia haha. I am referring to people on the continent as that from now on.

Can someone explain brown sauce to me? I googled it and the HP bottle reminds me of an A1 Steak sauce bottle.

Psssh. If it isn't between sliced bread it isn't a sandwich.

A stack of ingredients inside a burger bun is a burger. The quality of the burger is irrelevant.
No way. Sandwiches come on all sorts of breads/rolls. Hell, McGriddles are sandwiches and those come on pancakes.

A 'burger' is a ground meat patty (beef, turkey, etc.)

If something is breaded and fried, it is no longer a burger. That's a fried chicken sandwich.

A bun is 'sliced bread'. or a biscuit or, hell a cookie, judging by the non trademark infringing name for Oreos.

Plus we are talking about KFC, the place famous for selling a sandwich with no bread at all.

Ketchup is not 'tomato' though, it is fucking sugar and vinegar.

There's a KFC in Aldgate near where I work in London, but across from the station there's a cafe called Peter's Cafe that do a really, really good breakfast sandwich of Sausage, Egg, Bacon or a mix. I don't know if I want to walk past that and go to KFC to get one of these, but the one in Aldgate doesn't even do this anyway so oh well!

Aldgate or Aldgate East?

There's a a really nice cafe next to the KFC at Aldgate East station that I used for breakfast or brunch sometimes, great selection of delicious food and pastries and and good prices.

Don't remember the name though.

TBH I only really ever go to kfc if I'm in between stuff but not that hungry for the small flaming wrap or if someone I'm with wants to go, but I'm a sucker for trying new/limited time stuff like this.

This must be some weird American thing with the definition of sandwich and burger and I refuse to be a part of it.

To me it will always be:

Sandwich:

Burger:

Simple.

While if you're super anal technically I think burgers I supposed to be beef only I agree with you and so does 99.9% of the world.
