You get a pretty picture and a pat on the back.

It's the journey that matters, not the destination.

well, sucks for me - cause first i didn't know what the feathers do and used them randomly. "huh - beat a level under XX min? better put a feather on it!" >.<

I think if the sequel was all flying segments that would be okay with me. I really didn't care for the on foot segments very much. I am left handed and had to use the face buttons instead of the circle pad so maybe I am biased but the controls for the on foot segments were pretty bad.

I want
Dyntos
to go beserk and become a danger to all existence, and/or
Poseidon
to sour on us and unleash
his army, the Forces of the Ocean
.

EDIT: The nutcase above me wanting all flying sections can go be attacked by badgers. Gotta have flying sections AND ground sections!

I think if it was on WiiU that could be alleviated. I really hope it is WiiU, just for how crazy they could get with more powerful hardware, if they could pull this off on 3DS.

You guys are awful at spoiler tagging, you might as well just not do it.
Are you even reading what's under the tags? It's impossible for someone to infer characters like
Dyntos
and
Poseidon
that didn't appear at all in pre-release media.

I honestly have no idea what they could add to a sequel. Maybe give the ground sections some crazy setpieces like the flight sections? But that's really about it, outside of the obvious stuff like better graphics, more weapons, and more multiplayer modes.

Honestly, I just really want an equivalent to the SMT series' demonic compendium for fusion weapons. Make it so we can register our weapons and then buy them back later (at an inflated cost if need be). It'd be great to be able to fuse my main weapon and buy it back if need be.

Oh, and it'd be great if the game would allow you to go into the practice mode with a weapon before buying/fusing it, so you can see if it's something you really want.

And the ability to make a diorama with idols, ala Smash Bros. (Though this one was probably purposefully omitted for the sake of the AR Cards.)

Edit: Oh, and do something to make AR card battles more interesting.

The thing is when you do it that way, people have to highlight the stuff you spoiler to even know what is under it. It's possible they may know one of your spoiler tagged names but not the other, right? So in the end you draw people into looking at spoilers because you're so bad at it (not just you of course, pretty much everyone in this thread is terrible at it).

I've finished the game so I don't care either way. But yeah, you might as well just not use them.

If you are actually serious about protecting people from spoilers, read the spoiler tagging portion of the member etiquette faq. :p http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=428781

I am all for on foot segments if the control issues are resolved. The 3DS just made those segments kind of frustrating. They were still fun though.

Love the part of the boss battle 2 theme that plays when you're
circling Medusa in chapter 9 and the camera pans around her while ascending from her feet to her head.

Naw. People just don't highlight the spoiler tag if they're at risk of being spoiled. It's that simple.

Varying levels of spoilers

especially when you're leaving bits unspoiled so they can infer some sembelence of context

I just don't understand why people
spoiler
stuff like
this.

Regardless of any potential accidental spoilage, isn't easier to
use one spoiler tag to cover the whole statement, like this?
On top of taking less effort and being less likely to accidentally spoil something through context, you're much less likely to screw up one spoiler tag than several.

entertaining build: Babel Club with In-Peril Attack Boost +5 and Trade-Off Power Level 2

on a side note, is there any useful power to combine with trade-off ?

I thought this was self-evident, but partial spoiler-tagging of a statement gives context as to what -kind- of spoiler it is (I.E. location spoiler, event spoiler) without actually spoiling anything unless the reader -chooses- to highlight. That's why many people in this thread do it that way.

Or if you just do it how it's written in the faq, everyone is a-ok. And then we don't ever have to have the discussion. The "context" you give isn't always 100% clear (most of the time it isn't actually clear). You can't just assume people will know.

Using the faq as a guide on how to spoiler tag things eliminates the guess work (which no matter what anyone thinks will never be 100% no matter what) and actually -- for real -- puts the responsibility 100% on the person reading your post.

Even if you don't believe what I just said at all, it wouldn't hurt right? People do appreciate the effort.

I think I know why confusion is arising. The example given in the link you posted wouldn't even be workable here, as saying a boss number (and thus a chapter number) is a spoiler. How, then, does one identify where in the game the ensuing spoiler tag lies? Since there's no way to give readers an idea of whether they're already at that point in the game, I think that's why many people just err on "in context" sentences that let the reader know whether the blacked-out content refers to a person, a place or a turn of events, and then they can decide from there whether they want to know it, given how far they think they are in the game. It's the best we can do, not being able to give chapter numbers.

Although, consider people want to not even spoil the amount of chapters in the game, so they won't give a number past
__9__
, for example.

Buuut it's probably fair enough to assume that people who've seen certain new videos for the game are already aware of 'extra content' by now.

If I do this (Actual spoilers, not just spoiler bars)

Chapter 9 is awesome because you defeat Medusa then fight Hades.

If you haven't beat the game yet, you probably wouldn't even highlight that, even if you were up to the last chapter, because maybe I put something in there that happens at the end of that chapter.

But if I do this

Chapter
9
is awesome because
you defeat Medusa then fight Hades.

Well now you can highlight the chapter number, and see if it's ok to read the spoiler or not.

Got about 15 weapon gems from the Video Games Live concert here in MD. Of course most of them suck, but some are really good. The prices so high though.

Sorry if it's been answered, but...

Do you ever get anything for offering hearts to the Goddess?

Not sure if spoiler worthy, just want to be safe.

can anyone explain to me how "bumblebee" works? According to the description it sounds incredibly cheap but there's gotta be a catch to it right? I do know that I've gotten hit while having bumblebee active. I use bumblebee and Counter powers but I'm curious as to whats the advantages/disadvantages to each if anyone knows how they work specifically

Viridi is so totally tsundere for Pit. They should hook up.

This game is great so far :) I've only been playing on difficulty 4 for most of the chapters and I've made it to chapter 14, but I do plan on redoing them on higher difficulties (the intensity rooms kind of make that necessary).

Anyone seen a speed modifier higher than +4? I lucked out and earned a Stealth Claws early on with +4 Speed and I haven't used anything else since then despite the low attack ratings. The low range doesn't seem to be a liability so far in SP and I've did well with them in the few LvD games I played.

Stealth Claws (244)
Ranged: 1.5
Melee: 0.5
Knockback defense +1
Shaking +2
Speed +4
Dash ch.shot +3
In-peril autododge +3

Also is there a list which explains what each of the modifiers do? ^_^'

So I went online and someone on the other team had Palms at the value of 335. His weapon was a barrage of bullshit. We lost that game so hard. He's the only person I've seen with a weapon above 300, anyone want to report in on this? Dude must be lucky as fuck to fuse it.

Just hope he's on your team next time.

I don't think anyone is hacking 3DS.

I have plenty of 300+ weapons, I just don't use them for multi. Highest multi I use is a 299 one
(Skyscraper Club)
due to the trade-offs. I do want to fuse the ultimate SP weapon though, still got lots of levels to 9.0. Just play on higher difficulties and don't die, you will find valuable weapons soon enough.

Nah, I've got plenty of weapons over 300, here are two of my favourites:
This is what I use in together mode:

I think it's because she's inexperienced with making grind rails. In Chapter 14 Phosphora mentions that the Forces of Nature don't have the "budget" for grind rails, which implies that Viridi had never made one before, and the ones she DOES make in Chapter 14 are amateurish and cut off at random points.

Those of you who have done everything on 9.0:
what level(s) have you found to be the best for grinding good weapons?

Chapter 7 has an level 9 intesity gate that will usually contain a nice weapon within, and Chapter 15 is pretty easy and has more chests than the average level, allowing for efficient weapon runs. It's generally safer to just fuse good weapons though, as occasionally there will be hiccups in the loot system that will still only grant you 180-250 value weapons on 9.0 runs.

is there something that lists what all the different skills do and the difference each level makes because its not always obvious.
