I remember for a long time people thought this PC release just used the Dolphin emulator lol. Hopefully they are gearing up for a nice PS5 and Switch physical release.

Well, they're rereleasing Shadows of the Damned which is shockfull of "offensive" material. Killer is Dead sold very, very poorly I believe.

Cool that they went back and spruced up a bunch of stuff years after the fact. I agree that there's probably a console release on the way (hopefully GOG too for PC).

Even when it came out, people were bitching about it. That said, there's enough pushback these days against games "journalists" and purple forum types that I could see there being an appetite for it.

Though admittedly, that's a game on my list of "stuff I really wanted to play, then bought, then never played." So what do I know? Not much.

Might be using PS2 FMV's or using extra compression on top of the console version(s), eg Silent Hill 2's PC port used shittier FMV's from the Xbox version (30 FPS) where the original PS2 had 60FPS FMV's.

The PC port is the definitive version of the game. Unlimited frame rate, remappable controls, and both English/Japanese versions.

Killer is dead is definitely one of the best games I have played in the industry... Give it a chance and if it is much better than not having more heroes.
