The post processing is all there; unless you mean the added contrast and blur from off screen photographs? Like any other game it looks much better in motion.~Devil Trigger~ said:yea
the "Official" screenshots are raw have no post processing. Same with Uncharted
but still good looking
Ah I see. I'm actually grabbing those now. They are a curious selection of screenshots.Schrade said:Sony
Yeah. The first 6 are from November 6th and the last 6 are from August 11th.Clinton514 said:Ah I see. I'm actually grabbing those now. They are a curious selection of screenshots.
Shouldn't that be nine? There are only 9 trophies for level completion.Insane Metal said:So guys, the game has 10 levels, right?
We´ve seen all 6 levels from preview version, right? And we know there's a leven on a train in movemente, which we have already seen some tidbits too, right? So there's only 3 levels to be shown, right?
So far there's variety in the game, but not as much as I'd hope for
PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong.

But anyway, am I right? There's only 3 (or 4) more levels than what we've seen so far?FFObsessed said:There's actually 10. One's gold![]()
Wait, are you sure? I see 8 bronze ones and one silver one for level completions. Gold one for beating on highest difficulty.FFObsessed said:There's actually 10. One's gold![]()
Yes, there are other chapters that haven't been shown, though I see some pics that aren't from the preview build.Insane Metal said:But anyway, am I right? There's only 3 (or 4) more levels than what we've seen so far?![]()

Foil said:Yeah I'm thinking the level diversity for Killzone 2 will pale in comparison to the original game.
Oh well, hopefully they go back to Vekta for Killzone 3.

Foil said:I actually wouldn't mind if they went and remade the original game with the new engine for PS3. They could change the encounters up and some story elements, so long as we had all the same locations/characters from the first one. That way the first game could finally get the quality level it deserved.
The environment diversity it had was incredible. Just off the top of my head it had: Snowy mountains, rainsoaked dockfronts, stormy beaches (including a beach landing defense), murky swamps, jungles, city slums, warfields, space stations, beautiful city parks, urban centres, buildings, underground, etc.
recklessmind said:Parts of that game still hold up really well. Other parts, not so much.
That would be too awesome.Foil said:I actually wouldn't mind if they went and remade the original game with the new engine for PS3. shadowsdarknes said:The animations for reloading were pretty cool, but I eventually never payed attention to them. You never needed to reload your gun in KZ1. All you had to do was hit reload, wait half a second, switch your weapon and then switch back and you were good to go.
Hell, sometimes with the shotgun if you crouched at exactly the right time you could reload your shotgun in half a second. There's also a sweet glitch where you can load all your shotgun ammo into your clip so you have a shotty with like 36 bullets where you wouldn't even need to reload.
recklessmind said:I guess we play games for different reasons... that's cool though.
I've never really been interested in finding and exploiting glitches.
jett said:Thing I disliked the most about the original KZ1 is that your guns had a deliberate tendency to miss the target...by several feet.
Even if it was the first bullet.
Even if you weren't moving.
Even if you were crouching.
Even if you were holding the gun steady.
Even if you were using luger's fucking sniper gun.
Seriously, someone at GG will have to explain to me that retarded design choice one day.

shadowsdarknes said:Well in multiplayer, I don't have time to let the whole animation reload. If you want over 100 kills a game, you aren't going to waste your time reloading.
If I can crouch and reload my shotgun in a half second, I'm gonna do it. There's really nothing wrong with it.
Just like.. If you keep switching weapons while you run, your sprint lasts forever. I don't see what's wrong with doing that.
SolidSnakex said:While the level variety in KZ1 was really good, several of the levels designs weren't so hot. They had a very restrictive feeling. For a remake to be viable they'd have to completely retool many of the levels to open them up a bit more.

recklessmind said:I want them to do an OTS shooter so badly... and demonstrate that GRAW is not the way it's supposed to be done.
I'm confident that it's possible to do realism without it being "clunky". I think GG could do a kickass third person shooter.
Foil said:I really would love to see the swamp, jungle, beach, and snow mountain levels in this new engine. I hope they do remake it after Killzone 2 finishes development.
Basically just take the new engine, replace a lot of the HG troops with all the awesome new designs/classes they have, remake many of the encounters to fit them and be better overall, and if need be change some of the story parts for the better. Oh, and obviously replace all the weapons/hit detection parts with the new systems they have in for KZ2 and redo the audio/voice work while keeping some of the funny dialogue lines.
How could anyone not want the "NOOOo! NOT JOHNSON, HE WAS ONLY A BOY!" in the KZ2 HD engine?
SolidSnakex said::lol They're probably going to regret putting that over the shoulder cam in the spectator options.
