there's a full list in the multiplayer menu as well, so you can always check when you turn on the game on what else is there along with what's required to unlock it. Also the guy who typed out the list only typed out about 1/3 of the stuff to unlock... :P
 
There are a TON of badges to unlock. They reward you with more starting ammo, hold more grenades. They also unlock multipliers so you get more points per kill and more points for defending an area. Even if they make it take more points to get the different classes...there's a lot of ways to get multipliers. I havent even gotten them all, I actually hope they make it take more points.
 
I really like how they've managed the leveling up system. It makes you learn the ins and outs of each class. Once i unlock a new class, i usually start playing as that and get familiar with it. Even if i end up preferring something else, i know what that class is all about, strengths/weakness etc. Which helps, because in a good game you can have a good idea of what others on your team will be doing, and plan your actions from there.

isn't there an option to kick them out?, I'm afraid this is going to be a huge issue when released.

One guy team killed me twice in a row in one game when no one else was around. After the game he sent me a PSN message saying "sorry, I just needed to try the sniper rifle, how do you get it?!?!?!" I couldn't help but laugh.

It's also funny that when I die, theres always some noob inspecting my corpse checking out the scout character model.

Sometimes I cant help but laugh when i'm team killed.
It's not a super big problem...it's just a few jackasses that do it sometimes.

I usually finish off teammates if i'm in need of ammo. I figured i'm doing them a favor because some idiot medic would prob revive them in the middle of a fight.

You can vote people out of the game from the score menu. Press square for options and select vote. It's not very obvious I know but its there.
 
im ashamed to say, i was in the beta and only played 1 time, loved it but got like 5 new games that i was getting into, now that im done i just fired it up and played a proper game, SO AWESOME. when does the beta end? Im planning on playing alot more now.

I have a friend that works for a gaming magazine here in Mexico and has the beta, he shared his account with me cause he's already playing the demo levels most magazines seem to have by now, please tell me it will last at least a couple more days :(

I've heard the 28th is the last day...but don't quote me on that!

28th is a good day to end it. I have fucking exams coming up in December/January and I can't get any work done with this beta going, completely serious.

And Resistance 2 comes out that day so people with withdrawal symptoms will hopefully go out and pick up R2. In EU anyway :D

I know a lot of people here gave it a bit of a bashing but I can't wait to play it, loved the first one.
 
Wow I got the SUCKIEST team..
How the hell do you let the other team deliver the speaker 3 times and none of them had the boost pill....AND we had a spawn point right next to the stand.
I hate when other tacticians are on my team...they usually suck and they take away from the spawn points i can throw down.

Can't imagine how you did that. I mean, I had just gotten LittleBigPlanet and ever since getting the Killzone 2 Beta I can't play anything but that. I just automatically load it up without thinking. It's so damn addictive! I am so looking forward to the full release of the game.

Man, this noob tactician bs is getting on my nerves. Most people must have just unlocked the tactician class or something. I'm trying to win the battle for us and the other tactician is like a spy for the other team...

We're losing because of you noobs!!

I dont know myself either tbh, i just played today and everything clicked, infact it clicked so much im gonna pre order tomorrow.
 
is the framerate in some instances as bad as the 1Up show... showed?
If yes, are they gonna fix it?
Hopefully SP will be smooth as butter.

The only time the framerate chugs are when you have like a 32 player match and most of the people are in one area with rockets and grenades going off. There's so many particles, smoke, explosions shaking the "world" that you can see the framerate chug a bit.

The other time it happens is when there's network or some sort of server lag. This is almost definitely something that they've fixed in the final code.
