The man is either an idiot, a pervert, or both. He never misses a chance.Do you have uncircumcised penises hanging out of where your eyes should be?
Because Gears 2 may not be a great looking game but it's at least a good looking game. While R2 has all the visual trappings of the kind of viscous sludge you'd find stuck in the skin hood of an uncircumcised, unwashed, post coital penis.
On the contrary, I remember Mickey's comments quite clearly. He's a very eloquent shit talker when it comes to Resistance. Stands out against the typical "where are my weapons wheelz" blither blather.Pojo said:Apparently you didn't read that thread.
Or this one.

Because "this game looks like an uncircumcized penis" is so much better than "Insomniac should have included a weapon wheel."

If my memory serves me correctly (I don't feel like going downstairs and turning on the ps3, lol), you can form up to six squads per team, right? If I recall correctly that is the case, but logic tells me that it's not, since it would make little sense to have any more than four squads per team, seeing as four squads of four would be perfect for a full 16 man team.
-From what I've seen, it rarely has a drastic impact on strategy. But it sure is pretty. I suppose a beta tester can clarifyLinkified said:I haven't really been following the information coming out about KZ2 but I have some questions for you guys:
- Does the destructible envrioments actually alter the way stratergies are formed in MP? Or is it simply to make it look cool and not affect gameplay?
- Have GG promised there will be DLC?
- Have GG said how many maps will be avilable in the final game yet?

I'm sure there will be plenty. This game cannot and will not be ignored.Have GG promised there will be DLC?
On the Killzone site you can edit your profile to say what multiplayer map is your favorite. They're numbered and such. I don't remember if that's on the beta site or not so I won't give any info on that. Suffice to say there's more than 5Have GG said how many maps will be avilable in the final game yet?
European journalists are playing the first 5-6 chapters, from what I understand. There's an embargo until December 4th.SSM25 said:So, are people are playing the campaign right now?

there are nothing wrong with scripted campaignsSSM25 said:cool, I have a feeling the campaign is very scripted, and if I remember correctly reviewers are very harsh on that aspect of gameplay, except for COD for some reason.
I hope the campaign turn out very good....

Gears of War 2 does NOT in a MILLION FUCKING YEARS give Crysis a run for its money.
Gears of War 2 does NOT give Killzone 2 a run for its money either, because it can't even do fucking proper shadows (outside of characters and very few objects) in MP WITH FEWER PLAYERS, SMALLER MAPS, AND LESS INTERACTIVITY, technically it's not even in the same league, heck it doesn't even do proper shadows in SINGLE PLAYER.
Hmm, maybe Tempy guy can help ... Maybe cant , is he a betatester or something ? He doesnt look like more than it ..SolidSnakex said:I have no clue, but it seems like tons of sites have it now.

ALso, thats just your opinion (and i have mine) and dx10 has NOTHING to do with it... play Crysis in dx9 then play it in dx10 (dx10 is not all that)..not a whole lot of difference there pal so right there that greatly hinder's your opinion's creditability..your either are:
1. A pc fanboy that cant let go of the fact that PC games are no longer producing the most stunning looking games.
2. Your just pissed off a 200 to 400 dollar console rival graphics that of a 1000 dollar+ PC setup...
There's many many guys like you around boards like here at Gaf..i deal with them all the time..its nothing new

PC's videocards are a few generations above what the ps3 had.
The avg ram nowadays is 1gig on just about every system.
Only thing in ps3 that beats pc's is the cpu and that's debatable.
If you're talking about the PS3's thumbnails, those are like 320x240 animations that it generates per video (and that you can generate them from a chosen starting point if you wish).UntoldDreams said:I have yet to see an Intel CPU that can decode 12 hd streams simultaneously.

For graphics processing apparently, but there's a bit more to KZ2 than graphics, so probably no.H_Prestige said:Wait, so KZ2 is doing all of this with only 4 SPUs?

really?
Yea but when it comes to general purpose processing....there are cpu's that can defeat the CELL.UntoldDreams said:I have yet to see an Intel CPU that can decode 12 hd streams simultaneously.
Do you have a link to this?UntoldDreams said:I am categorically not talking about thumbnails and previews.
I am saying that decoding a single HiDef Video Stream fully in software to play an HD video. Its extremely processor intensive and doing ONE stream is already taxing on a CPU. Doing 12 is unheard of simply due to the vast quantity of CPU power required. Specialized video hardware is needed to do something like that normally.
It was just before the PS3 came out.proposition said:Do you have a link to this?

There's an HD Equivalent demo in Japan. I'll try to find the link.
