I'm honestly kinda glad I still look at games like I did in the old days. While netcode is very important for the modern consumer, it's something akin to a multi-tap 4 ~ 6 player title for me.
Which is to say, I'm buying most games for their local, default 2P, in-my-house capable play first, and everything beyond such restrictions is just an awesome bonus. (Buying a multi-tap + extra controllers was a rare thing indeed. DID IT FOR GENESIS MEGA BOMBERMAN THOUGH!)
Even if I didn't have local play, I'd still buy a fighter for those times when someone would visit or something. I'd wanna be knowledgeable about the game when the time comes, and it's not like fighters have an expiration date, or even that "this years model" completely invalidates an older one (unless it's an AKSYS game, I guess).
Ironically though, this will probably end up being the fighter I play online the most since KI 2013. I hope it's full of a lot of people who try to find their own way with these new characters, instead of just X-copying whichever prominent player they see. It's awesome when you play online, and see tech and setups that haven't made the rounds yet. Probably some of the best times in online play.

Man I forgot about that win pose (but then I'm not a big Leona player). They really should've just kept that red tanktop instead of the weird yellow green top they gave her. My only minor gripe really. From the angle of that CG portrait it almost looks like Laura's Bonita shirt minus the underboob.

Can you tell I really like "Survivors Under The Sky"? It's gripping like Clark, feels like it's out of an 80s action flick just like Ralf, and has striking beauty and efficiency to it, just like Leona. Perfect Ikari theme.
She just entirely covered her legs now, and wears less up top! I'm still waiting for the DLC with the Shorts and Tanktop, personally.
I don't often play Ralf (leave that to brother) but when I do, I'll be ending every match I can with that! Especially finals. Love the Echo voice during the punch. And they way they handle the zoom on his fist is so 2D-ish.

Eh, her colors are generally pretty neutral and business-y though. (I have the think the only reason her old sprite had the red top was so that they could have some place to use the colors they used for the Orochi Leona hair recolor across her palettes.) I wouldn't mind seeing the red top as an alt color, but I like the fact her default looks militaristic in tone.

THE FINAL BOSS IS SCARF-WEARING GOLDUCK, CONFIRMED!
Upper body skin, leg skin... she's always shown skin! She's even wearing a skirt with that suit she throws off in pre-match introductions. I like that it's never really defined her character though; she's not wearing it to get you attention, she's wearing what she chooses, because it's what she's fighting in.
I'd totally find it weird to see her with a Swimsuit DLC. Naa, I'd expect more manservice Ralf first, ha.

The Chinese "WINNER!" and such text looks pretty cool, too. I hope they were cheering for KoF, but I couldn't tell if it was for that, or something else in the area, honestly.
It seems like in this censored version they have also changed the color of Iori's claw slashes (looked green instead of red). Is SNK just playing it safe with this censorship? I don't remember Capcom doing it with SFV.
It sounded like it was for KOF, a lot of the cheering was during something cool happening, combos in particular.

Yeah, the cheers seem to synch up more honestly as time went on. There were some parts early on when I felt like they were off time.

Still confused. Like I said that's 3X16 = 48 (on the scan it only shows 48 including Antonov + Final Boss.)
Adding one more boss would be 49- so there's two secret characters?
And anyhow my main question is will all character be playable, or Is Antonov OP and not available for Tournaments?
I hope they are well balanced like the final boss of Garou mark of the wolves.
Here's hoping the final boss isn't an ugly monster looking thing, or at least the regular playable version isn't.
