Kingdom Come - Realistic open-world Medieval RPG [Kickstarter]

Yeah, probably some of the best first person sword fighting I have ever seen. Even in this state.

Wow, first time I'm actually hyped as hell for a Kickstarter project. This looks fan-fucking-tastic. Nice to see it confirmed to come to Xbox One, hopefully Sony follows suit soon.

Can't wait to wander around that photoreal world of lush green and sheep.

Oh, there is going to be combat? Well, that is just bonus.

Awesome update. I like the behavioral cycles of NPCs as they described. I'm curious how the whole economy of the game works and how much the player actions on a NPC influence that. This game not only look so good, but it seems to have the smarts too.

This makes me think Kingdom Come will have huge replayability.

Who is Finland at war with?

Finland didn't have that style flag until 1918, and didn't really exist independently until the 1800's.

its probably Teutonic Order

This is what I was going to guess. The game takes place in 1403 and the Teutonic Order was active then. Although I'm not sure if they moved away from the mainland much. It looks like their empire was around present-day Estonia and Lithuania.

The NPC AI in this game is starting to remind me a lot of Banished.

And that is a really, really good thing.

1403 according to logo, i guess in next acts we will be part of Hussite Wars , but that happend almost 20 years after that date , but game's story background supports that

Well, I'm very happy to see a rather underused period of history getting its time in the sun.

However, as great as the game looks, and it really does look amazing, it just makes me want Mount and Blade 2 even more so...

Yeah Mount and Blade has that playground sandbox thing down pat. This is much more Skyrim - dragons + good combat + hopefully coherent and grounded NPCs and story which is amazing but just a very different thing.

This looks like the perfect Oculus Rift game. Although I guess they shouldn't worry about that until Oculus Rift is actually available as a consumer product.

that looks bloody good. Hopefully the open world aspect is truly fleshed out, with such graphics it's going to feel like a real adventure

I knew tournament mode was a pretty good carrot to hold out there... I bet they hit it.

Confirmed coming to consoles from an update on the kickstarter:

We had lot of discussion with both Microsoft and Sony in the past weeks and we are happy to announce that the game concept of Kingdom Come: Deliverance was approved by both Sony and Microsoft for the next gen platform (PS4 and Xbox One).

Also, million stretch goal:

We thought about it a lot and we all agreed that we would love to have dog in the game as a companion. Best friend who will follow you everywhere, help you in combat, warn you from danger when you sleep or go hunting with you. If we reach this goal, there will be dogs in the game and you will be able to own one. There will also most likely be dog related quests.

Kingdog Come of Duty confirmed?

Haha, that's an interesting (and adorable!) mechanic. I wonder if there would be an incentive to not have a dog companion. Like you save money and resources by not having to take care of one but you lose the perks the companion provides or something.
