Kirby Robobo Planet + Kirby Hunters 3DS

Finished the main game, this game is much better than RttDL and TDX IMO. The pace feels faster than TDX. Robot abilities and puzzles are well designed, new abilities like ESP and poison are fun, Smash is kind of overpowered, so
they hide it nicely
. Boss battles are great, needless to say the epic final boss battle(you know the tradition ;D). Though they bring back a few bosses from RttDL and TDX, in the main game and Hunter mini-game. New tracks are really enjoyable and remix tracks are the best presents HAL make for Kirby fans. Really appreciate HAL's work on this game.

How is the Kirby Hunters mini game!? It looked so good, and is part of the reason I'm really excited for this game. (Besides Kirby ofc)

It's fine, the four abilities you can use are a little different to the main game, for example the sword Kirby can use a wide guard, hammer Kirby moves really slow. Let you fight
6
bosses from previous games. Maximum level is 10, wont take too long to reach. Fun but a little short IMO. Maybe they'll make a Kirby Hunter Z in the future?

The main game? About 7~8 hrs for me.

Awesome to hear your impressions. Thank you. There are other significant minigames right? And did you try the 3D Kirby one?

Does the game have collectibles in the main game to get 100% with, and some additional NG+ type modes like usual?

Nice, thanks for the impressions. I was hoping this would turn out good. Looks like a fun, charming summer game.

The minigames are Hunters and 3D Rumble and they're both pretty short. I definitely expect them to get standalone Z versions like the minigames from the last game did.

Arena and True Arena are back, as well as Meta Knightmare Returns. The main collectibles are the decals for your robot, similar to the keychains from the last game.

Overall, it's very similar to Triple Deluxe, just better in pretty much every way.

No Dedede's Tour?

And, how is 3D Rumble, in terms of fun factor?

Sounds good, thanks for the info man.

(No second collectible to replace sunstones BTW?)

Cubes that you actually have to collect a certain amount to progress through the worlds with this time (I can't remember if you needed to in the previous game or not)

Yes, you did. For sunstones, I believe. :) Thanks!

Are the decals like the keychains where you could play through the whole game multiple times and still not get all of them?

I got about 70% of decals after my first playthrough. Also, there are rare decals that exclusive to certain stages, hidden in specific places.

Grazie. With the keychains, though, I thought there were some rare ones in stages but in general it was semi-random which you'd get...? Wondering if decals are the same.

Several stages have unique keychains (the gold ones), but the normal ones were random.

Wow, just wow. I think just found my new favorite Kirby game. Not only is the presentation slick as hell, the soundtrack a sweet techno, it's the smoothest kirby game to boot.

Treasure X Kirby is the order of the day and man what a wonderful day it is. I'm loving this continued growth of Kirby into filling the shoes of Treasure. The Robobot is by far the best "partner/ability changer" the series has introduced and constantly varies the action and ups the platforming aspect without toning down the action or slowing the pace. Powers are just as fun to use as always, and god damn is the final boss cool.

It's a riot to play through.
And they brought back Meta Knightmare mode, which was my favorite Kirby SSU mode to go through.

It may not reinvent the Kirby action game formula, but it doesn't need to, it's a damn fine refinement that has all the gears and cogs working. There isn't really a "bad" part of the game. It's really consistent and pace is swift.

How easy is to find ways to get the fighter power up on the main game.

Does it have every stage like spark or fire in some kirby games ?

It only appears on ONE boss like Smash in the gba kirby ?

Ok, through 0~5, 0 being smash, 1 being mike, fight should be 1.5 or 2 IMO.
