Theres like 6 mainline SH games plus PSP versions and a reboot even. Kojima has nothing to do with any of those. Im baffled how people forget the original Team Silent who are the ones responsible for creating the psychological horror franchise.

Kojima pitched some art house demo that actually looks nothing like SH except for the name and all of a sudden if he is not involved, the game will suck? Lol. Theres plenty of talented people out there and they dont need a big name attached to them to prove that.

Good.

I always prefered SILENT HILL over RESIDENT EVIL. I never was a fan of zombie stuff and I never understood the hype. I prefer more supernatural elements. I thought The Room was pretty good ans I liked all the dimension hopping.

Thing is they really screwed the pooch with P.T. and pissed off Del Toro, understandably so. Now Konami is considering it when you had gold in your hand with P.T.? Why is it some pubs or devs are so clueless?

I'd much rather see the original Team Silent get together as an independent studio and crank out a spiritual successor than rely on Konami to do the series justice.
 
If they were smart they would offer it to kojima and then just sit back and make buckets of cash for doing nothing at all. The hype already built into it guarteens millions of sales in the first 3 months.

But they won't, they will fuck it up. I wish Sony could buy konami so we could get some good games from them.
 
I always wanted to play the PS2 games, but I just played the on GBA, and on Wii. The Wii one, was very good. Let's see what they will do; if they will do anything. Konami nowadays is very strange company.
