Lady Gaga ARTPOP |OT| It could mean anything

I don't get the inside joke of "Not Beyonce" and "Not Rihanna" on the producers list in the OP, but it made me laugh

They were both rumoured collabs before we got the track list
both largely unwanted too

Get your life

I see Arte beat me to the punch

When Gaga announced she was working with Zedd and Madeon I was honestly expecting a whole lot of songs with a monstrous BPM.

But G.U.Y., ARTPOP and Mary Jane Holland are all slaying me and they're not what you'd call typical EDM. I'm really glad she's doing something slightly different to the typical stuff (ie. what she did with Stache).

Finally, a new Gaga song that's easily on par with or better than her Fame Monster stuff. Venus is everything I've been missing from her.

Tonight, I found out Madeon collaborated with Lady Gaga...

There aren't enough squeee's to express how happy I am of this, been a fan of his for a looong time. Mary Jane Holland's epicness does not surprise me. :D

It's not bad. I was expecting more from Madeon though, it sounds like a worse Bloody Mary. I'm dying to hear all of Zedd's, I loved High Princess/Stache and the snippet of GUY.

Ever since she announced it, I've had the feeling that Donatella is going to be one of the best on the album. Maybe even Zedd's best, but I haven't even heard it yet so maybe I'm jumping to conclusions.

That chorus.

DWUW and Venus have both been killer. Aura sounds great, too, but those two are what I have been waiting for from her. MJH - don't get it. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Every song of Gaga's - I can see how people might not like it.

but Mary Jane Holland is like, the first of the ARTPOP songs to directly connect with me - everything else has been a grower.

My only real complaint with MJH is the production is a bit loud and it does drown out her voice a little bit, but with headphones I don't find it as much of a problem.

I just can't fucking wait to see that bridge (or the entire song) live!

INTRODUCING

LADIES and GENTLEMEN

MARY JANE HOLLLAAANNNNDDDD!

gwbiuhdiufwbsafucbdwufwd so good T_T

Re-uploaded the Venus / Do What U Want performance.

What the hell is going on with her image these days? I get that she wants to come across as a geniune artist and not a manufactured product, but she really needs to listen to a professional team. That venus image is the sorriest thing she's ever released.

MJH didn't click with me at first and that last "bridge" still doesn't, but I love love-love-love love-love-love love most everything else. Especially the way she sings and the effect they use for when she sings, "My darkest sin" + "and cheap gin."

I feel like she's trying to go back to basics with the natural goddess theme. She seems to be stripping away her persona a bit and getting closer to the artist she was when she was just Stefani Germanotta. At least, that's the impression I'm getting from some of her live performances. Especially the iTunes festival thing. Speaking of which, I think that huge hair she had for part of her performance during the festival was one of her best looks yet.

That chorus.

"When you touch me I die just a little inside..." So, so good. Sex Dreams is really doing it for me too.

I would already put Artpop way above Born This Way, and I think BTW is pretty good.

So far I've liked every song I've heard except for the ballads (I've never liked any of her ballads). I feel like this will be her most consistently good album, even if the highs aren't as high as some of her earlier work.

Seems like the ballads this time will feature some interesting production.

MJH still hasn't clicked with me, so far it is the weakest track I've heard

It hits iTunes at midnight local time, November 4th.

Really interested in what Dope will sound like.
Do the lyrics link to the bruises/teeth at all?

I only liked Dance in the Dark from Lady Gaga past songs, but now looks like Do What U Want is going to be part of my Gaga playlist. Really loving the song.

AOTY
HQ will utterly slay me

Gypsy is awesome. Can't find a HQ stream, but I look forward to buying it.

EDIT: She kind of ruined MANiCURE...
