Gaga needs to gain her weight back, I really miss the days of The Fame.

I recently watched the Eh, Eh video and I was shocked that at one point she looked like a healthy-figured, happy person that just wanted to dance around and have fun. She also didn't force group dance choreography into every one of her videos.

Eh, Eh is my favourite song/video of hers.. :D

And yeah I really wish they wouldn't do group dance choreos AGAIN and AGAIN, and they're all very samey. Gibson should tone it down. Gaga should just walk around more, dance less. I think the Judas performances are strange when she dances so damn much. Take it easy and SING sometimes Gaga.

Can't wait for Hair.

And omg I NEED to hear Electric Chapel and Marry the Night. The snippets keep me awake at night!

I'll be asleep, but here's the countdown to HAIR.

  • Hair
  • Producers: RedOne
  • Another of GaGa’s favourites off the album
  • Clarence Clamons also features again with saxophone
  • RollingStone describes it as being a similar but a bit weirder version of Born This Way
  • Apparently has a hard industrial edge akin to Nine Inch Nails
  • Song is inspired by Gaga’s days at school where her uniform did not allow her to exude her style, and she had to rely on just her hair to manifest individuality.
  • Lyrics describe embracing one’s own hairstyle as being the ultimate expression of identity.
  • Producer RedOne claims that production for this song has never been done before. (HYPERBOLE ALERT, probably)
  • Tongue-in-cheekily described as an anthem for salons everywhere.

LYRICS
Whenever I'm dressed cool,
My parents put up a fight.
And if I'm a hot shot,
Mom will cut my hair at night.

And in the morning I'm sure of my identity,
I scream Mom and Dad why can't I be who I wanna be?
I just wanna be myself,
And I want you to love me for who I am.

I just wanna be myself,
And I want you to know, I am my Hair.

I've had enough, this is my prayer,
That I'll die living just as free as my Hair.

I am my Hair!

Possibly the strongest lyrics (so far) in her career. They're not riddled with superfluous vocabulary or have double/triple meanings like some of her other songs (Alejandro, etc.), it's just a pure anthem. Seems like a better-written, slightly more focused 'Born This Way.' But it's gonna take something killer to dethrone BTW from my Top 3.

Damning with faint praise.

RedOne doing nine inch nails could be fun. at the very least worth a hearty laff.

It's almost here! I went on iTunes to check and didn't realize it's not coming out until 1:00 Pacific. Grrrr...that's 4:00 for the East! :p

I'm listening to the 96.1 Kiss stream.

They're playing Grenade right now. How appropriate.

Edit: oh, that's the same in your link lol.

Second verse is so good

i have no idea what she was singing but the backing track was FIRE

On first listen, I like it so so so much more than any other song from BTW so far! well done gaga

It's a long one. Didn't do a whole lot for me but I still really liked it. I always like her songs more after a couple plays. Edge became my favorite new one after listening to it 3 times :)

It's OK. My least favorite song off the album so far, at least after the first listen.

Lahv how it changes things up for the second verse though, and the sax is better integrated than in Edge of Glory (though that song is much superior and amazing).

It's alright. Doesn't scream instant classic like Edge of Glory, but it's not a discordant mess like Judas (whose Goldfrapp remix I'm currently in love with) either. I'll need to hear it a few more times to let it sink in.

Meh, not really feeling it. Maybe it's a grower, but I had no expectations from the song to begin with.

I need Marry the Night already! Love the instrumental snippet we've heard.

BTW is still my favorite
Edge of Glory is a close runner up
Judas third

Hair...this will likely be one of my least favorite songs on the album
