I can't with knowing we'll be hearing the standard edition in 5 days at the latest.

Oh, the Hair cover is hot too.

I get a bit confused with Gaga though. She showed the HAIR cover at the end of her Graham Norton performance, and recently tweeted she'll show us a "surprise" which is obviously the single cover itself.

Did she not think SOMEONE would capture it from the Norton performance and put it everywhere already? >_> Is she that disconnected, especially as such an avid user of social media?

Fuck I want these tracks now. Some new info has surfaced too.

Scheisse starts acapella then turns into a dance song

Marry the Night is similiar to The Edge of Glory

Fashion of his Love was written after McQueen’s Death

Scheisse and GH are slower than the snippets we’ve heard

Hair and Bad Kids are slower and less rebelious than expected

A lot of them raved about Heavy Metal Lover and Electric Chapel

She didn’t play the final version of You and I

Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) is a slow song

Bloody Mary is different to anything she’s ever done

Black Jesus + Amen Fashion “Jesus is the new black”

Government Hooker “I can be sex, I can be more”lol

Bad Kids “I’m still Beautiful and Dirty Rich, your sick nasty dirty bitch”

The Queen “Tonight I will return all the fame and riches earned, with you i’d watch them all be burned”

Hair “I am my hair, I am my hair, it’s all the glory that I bare.”

Bloody Mary "I wont cry for you, I won't crucify the things you do, I won't cry for you see, when your gone, I'll still be Bloody Mary."

Bad Kids "In my meat dress I've got guns, up under my thumbs, manicure is slick, you mad that my tips longer than your dick."

These were from the recent "listening party" in France.

lmao I was going to ask where you got the cover from.

I don't think she was referencing the cover as the surprise since she talks about it in the same tweet. In any case, I am going to guess she's never going to uploading this "special" video of her performance, just like she never uploaded the special video of the Ellen Ball.

dis deceiving bitch to be quite honest.

Also, a source has confirmed that Gagavision 42 is indeed Bloody Mary. So that's an idea of what that song that "sounds like nothing she's done before" sounds like.

Bad Kids = Love Game 2.0 confirmed. EXCITE

I'm completely floored that Highway Unicorn is a slow(er) song. I thought it was gonna be a fired up melody, at least that's what the chorus made it sound like ("Get your hot rods ready to rumble" etc.).

Government Hooker. It just sounds like the fiercest shit in the world. I'm really just curious about what all the lyrics are. It's definitely the most interesting and promising from all the tracks, but it could also end up being hollow. As long as the studio version offers a lot more than the Mugler Remix implied then I'll be thrilled. Hell, if she did 4 minutes of just "Hooo-ooooo-kaaaahhhhh" I'd be content.

ScheiBe I know is gonna be SICK. The remix still gets plays on my iPod and I love the "german" speaking part. Just give me that as a bridge and that killer fucking chorus and I'm set.

The Queen, Fashion of His Love, Black Jesus/Amen Fashion I have no opinion of. They're obviously the extra tracks so that might have something to do with it. I dunno, I'm just not curious about them at all. Well, maybe Black Jesus. Mostly for the wtf factor.

I've been most excited about Hair since I heard her talking about it a few months back. Just sounds like it can be a killer anthem ala Born This Way and the hair = freedom metaphor I really dig. I keep hearing mixed signals from different sources, some saying it sounds too similar to Born This Way, and some saying it doesn't sound as rebellious or blazing as they thought it was, but they all seem to agree that it's definitely good. So we'll see. Can't wait for Monday.

Marry The Night was also never really on my radar. Everybody who's heard it has been in love with it but I'm just holding out any hype until I hear it myself. It just sounds like a slowed down Edge of Glory and the content itself sounds kinda familiar so we'll see.

Bloody Mary didn't used to be on my radar, but holy shit, it sounds like a beast. Like a moody gothic ballad. Can't go wrong with that.

Just give me Americano. Please. I really, really want it. I know it'll be my favorite.

Yeah she's getting on my nerves. It seems like she's having a little bit too much to do with Gaga for this album. Do we even know how much input she had on The Fame/The Fame Monster? This is the first time I've heard of her really. GaGa couldn't even make the Judas music video the way she wanted it because Laurie-Ann thought her original idea was too much or too crazy.
Even GaGa's choreography isn't as good as it used to be.

Oh well, I doubt GaGa will drop her, they're supposedly really good friends.
Curious, what was Gaga's original vision?

We don't know. It probably heresay, but I heard that Gibson threatened to walk out or something because it offended her or some shit like that. I am not sure if I am remembering the story correctly.

I think it was a good idea for the Judas video to be on the tamer side though, regardless of what Gaga had originally envisioned. I think all the controversy surrounding the single is stupid and irrational, but girl really needed to take a break from negative headlines. I salute LaurieAnn if she had something to do with the simplistic direction of the video (which also ended up being a breath of fresh air amid Gaga's recent line of lengthy videos).

Also, dat goo in the Born This Way Norton performance looked uncomfortable to be in.

The goo is apparently really expensive "Slime Art".

It was used in the Born This Way clip too, it's by a designer called Bart Hess.

Just uploaded on Lady Gaga's channel. I guess this was the surprise she mentioned.

Edit: Man, that Goldfrapp one is pretty boss.

Man that HBO special was disappointing.

Gaga keeps falling into obscurity for me.
Wow, seriously? That special restored my confidence in Gaga after her new Born This Way ethos had me wondering if she was losing her touch. The costuming was as inventive as one could want, a huge variety of songs were performed, and Gaga owned the stage the whole way through, dancing and singing like a superstar, yet bantering with the audience, dancers, and band like she was playing a far more intimate venue.

I have no idea what expectations you could have had that weren't met or surpassed by that brilliant show. I'd hoped for a performance that would recall Gaga's earlier days, when she was making light catchy dance tracks and giving quirky interviews and blowing people away with classical renditions of songs you wouldn't have imagined could work with those arrangements. What I got was much better: a pageant of art and music that proved the old Gaga never left—she's just been operating on a parallel track to the new Gaga, and sometimes they get together and party with a bunch of their mutual friends like it's the night before the end of the world.

She was out of shape.
Didn't try on some song's vocals.
Not a fan of the costume stuff.
Found the banter pandering.

Glad you liked it though.

Haven't watched the HBO special yet, but the Monster Ball tour was awesome. The energy was insane - hoping this holds it together.

And out of shape? She's a twig.

I think he meant "out of shape" as in "unsettlingly thin." She looked perfectly healthy before, but not so much anymore. :/
She looks toned and quite lean to me, but not unsettlingly thin by any means.

The Goldfrapp remix of JUDAS sounds like something out of a Silent Hill soundtrack by Yamaoka.

I FUCKING LOVE IT!

i'd love for them to rerecord the vocals with a singer with that range. pitch-shift only gets you so far. great remix though.

Lady Gaga was phenomenal in the HBO special. After having watched that and then seeing the Graham performance and hearing the Judas mixes, I'm in Gaga heaven. Love that free bitch so much.

Unsettingly thin:

I think Gaga's body is perfect.

The HBO special was great.

That part where she was just standing still in that white costume was magical.

They cut some stuff from the HBO special that I wish they would of kept in.

-The whole intro was cut out save for about 2 or so seconds where it leads into "Dance in the Dark." You're not missing a whole lot, but I really liked the intro when I saw her live so it was sad to seem them cut it out.

-During the piano ballads of "Speechless" and "You and I," you missed out on this:
medium.jpg

-The biggest omission is the area between "Money Honey" and "Telephone." This is the part of the show where people would start throwing all sorts of crazy crap on to the stage and Gaga would get more personal with the audience again (much like she did after "LoveGame," but more so.) In the show that I went to, someone threw the red Thriller jacket on stage and actually stuffed a walkie-talkie in one of the pockets so they could talk to her more directly. She thought it was pretty funny because no one else had done it before, but was worried that everyone from now on would start doing it. :)

I guess there is some sort of contest you can enter before the show, because after that, she got on her cell phone (part of the reason you suddenly see her with a phone in the HBO special) and call someone out in the audience. They chat for a bit and then I guess you can go see her backstage after the show. (At least that's the impression I got). Then after that it moves into Telephone.

I can understand why they cut that out has it took up a huge amount of time, but it would of been fun to watch regardless. When you watch the HBO special, as it leads into "Telephone" you can see her dancers picking up all the stuff that was on the stage.

-What I DIDN'T get, and what they had here, when I saw here live was "So Happy I Could Die." I was pretty bummed she didn't sing this one at my show but I was glad to see it here.

-They also cut out all the video montages you get to watch when the is a costume change or set change. Again, not missing much, but fun none the less. You can pretty much watch all of what you missed on YouTube anyway.

Apparently there's a DVD coming out with bonus content, so hopefully all that good stuff gets thrown in there! The Youtube videos of the pre-Telephone audience interaction are always hilarious.

Surely a leak is imminent
!!!

I pre-ordered the vinyl collection. When it does arrive I'll post my views on it. Shame the UK don't get a t-shirt too but I'm hoping they'll add it in later.

Another tip for UK-Gaf, Gaga will be performing tomorrow night at Radio 1's Big Weekend and should be on a live stream here (not sure if it'll work in USA). I applied for tickets which are free but as it's an 1 in 15 chance I wasn't lucky. It would have been amazing as it's a pretty good line up.

edit: It'll also be live on BBC 3 and BBC HD at 9pm

Leaks are gonna be hard with the little monsters reporting all links right now. They have a system called "honesty box".

I WANT MY ALBUM NOW MOTHERUFKCERs!

why do you guys dig that HURTS Judas mix so much?
I find it offensively bad. Not dancy, not atmospheric, just edgy creep for the sake of it.
yawn

A lot of the remixes are well done.

What do you guys think about the Goldfrapp remix? Too slow/dark/weird? I like it a lot.

It didn't knock my socks off. I love the Mirrors Une Autre and R3HAB mixes. Plus, I love the Hurts one, but everyone has mentioned that already.

It's my favorite one out of the ones that have been uploaded.
