Web Your Enthusiasm? Could Larry David pop up in Spidey 3?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here... I've been away for a while, but I've now gotten situated in a hidden location somewhere south of the Equator. I'll be here for the next 3 weeks, but now that I finally wrangled internet in this house you'll see regular updates from me, I'm sure.

This really caught my eye. CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM is one of the unique gems of comedy on HBO and this is coming from someone who doesn't particularly care for SEINFELD. Larry David is one of those brilliant people who can arrange his comedy in a way that makes you want to slap him silly for being so bullheaded and ignorant, yet still feel bad for him when he digs himself into the deepest damn holes he can.

I'm curious to see what they have him do in SPIDER-MAN 3, if he is indeed not blowing smoke up someone's bum. Will this be like Hal Sparks' appearance in SPIDER-MAN 2... a quick funny bit... or will it be something bigger... Larry David would look good with some green feathers if you know what I mean. Just sayin'!

Anyway, here's the heads up... could be nothing, could be a little something... Now if only he'll engage Spidey in the debate on whether or not Mulato is an accepted term to "those people" anymore...

Hi Harry,

I've got some Spidey 3 news from a couple of days ago that hasn't appeared anywhere else yet, so I thought I should share...

I was listening to a show called Front Row on BBC Radio 4 here in the UK...it's generally an arts programme, but they cover films and tv too. They had an interview with Larry David who was promoting a new Curb Your Enthusiasm DVD, and at the end of the interview he was asked about future projects, and he said he'd been approached to appear in the next Spider-Man movie. It was a very brief comment, right at the end of the interview and with no more details than that.

Hope this is a useful scoop,

Best wishes,
MEDIBOT

I could totally see Larry David as The Vulture, but I'm not sure if that'd be a comic book villain they'd want to bring to life.

Great news. Quint is another dumbass from AICN though. "I don't particularly care for Seinfeld". I hate him, and I hate everyone at AICN nowadays. They're just elitist fucks who always think the movies they saw that nobody has seen in the U.S. are the best of the year, especially messed up korean flicks who don't get distributed here in North America because they're awful. Some of these korean flicks were good, but mostly, they overrate stuff all the time. And I hate those buddy-reviews where they review films of their "friends" and say it's the best thing ever. Who the hell is getting excited by a King Kong remake, except those guys, really?

Ok, my AICN rant is over.

So fucking true that my eyes bled blood. 80% of asian flicks are horrible, and this is coming from a major asian flick lover as myself. Last decent Korean flick I saw was Fighter in the Wind, last great Korean flick I saw was probably Bungee Jumping on their Own. Even then most people dislike the movie because of "heart-throb" Byung-hun Lee and his wily ways. But most of it is all soppy trash to please the crazy karaoke singing masses.
