Seriously, though, as much as I disagree with Trump, and think that his presidency will be bad for the world (my interest, I am a Swedish citizen), the guy is clearly a talented populist politician. The moderate republicans need better arguments, better personalities and less corporate shillism to win this fight.

If you look at his tax statements, which are public record for all Presidential hopefuls, he made seven figures in speaking fees last year. He will probably double for this year.

The man has based his entire campaign off of white supremacy & the notion that America's issues stem from minorities rapidly gaining power rather than constant mistakes and poor decision making stemming back to the Reagan Administration. Almost every minority in America can see right through his "Make America Great Again" bullshit. The GOP themselves know that the "whites only, fuck everyone else" strategy is what cost them in 2012, which is why they're hellbent on literally getting anyone else to win the nomination. Because they know that if the election is Trump vs Hillary, they're fucked.

The establishment Republican (Nixon) got better numbers than the anti-establishment Republican (Goldwater).
All Republican candidates since Nixon have all been establishment candidates. Trump would do worse than Goldwater. Much much worse.
2ndly most importantly, the GOP machine will not support Trump full strength in the general. GOP campaigners would stay home, many traditional GOP voters would stay home.

If it wasn't for your behavior in the last Democrat debate and avatar I might believe that would be enough. I want to believe that would be enough. Either way, I truly believe even Bernie Sanders could beat Trump. The GOP needs Hispanics to win the White House and with Trump a Democratic would own that demographic even more than Obama (71%).
