That's IEM Cologne, which takes place Dec 18th - 21st. It'll have CLG, Roccat, Dignitas, Gambit, and two minor Turkish/easter EU teams.
also i thought dig and roccat were gonna be at iem in place of curse and fnatic?
i'm confused...
They pulled out cause of roster issues (basically they had no final roster).
tear + mejais + deathcap is a hilarious amount of ap
that being said they got the dragon off that build's lack of mid pressure

lux is not ryze, she doesn't need the activeTear takes foreveeeer to stack on Lux.
roa on lux makes no sense, it's a lot of money for useless stats like health and you still have to stack it for 10 minutesIf you're not turning it into Seraphs anytime soon I would rather get RoA instead of tear.
They're still looking better than anything EU has shown in the past year.Man the UoL hype train got derailed real fast
There's a ridiculously funny match going on in China's Demacia Cup right now between Energy Pacemaker Carries and StarHorn Royal Club. SHRC are 1-0 up but look to have had one of their internal disagreements in champion select again in game 2. Uzi is now playing mid Riven. Their top laner is playing AD carry Ezreal, with inSec as his support, playing Blitzcrank. Their mid laner, Corn, is jungling Warwick. This has meant their support has been left to play top lane. He chose Renekton and got solo killed by the enemy Annie solo lane after 6 minutes. They're losing heavily at the moment.
Edit: Insec and Uzi have died a combined 14 times in 18 minutes. SHRC still have a chance with how stupid this game is. 40 kills before 20 minutes.
UOL's top, mid and support are quite sound. Jungle and Marksman need a bit of improvement. Above all, they need a better shotcaller / map movement. I feel that C9 beat them mostly through those aspects. For example, they went on with a base race against C9 who had Baron buff. Not to mention C9 had Lucian splitpushing without retaliation on top of Janna defending.
EU really suffers from passive and inconsistent play, and the only teams that managed to get past this problem were Fnatic and Gambit, and look where they are now. They're still looking better than anything EU has shown in the past year.

Yeah, I guess Gambit wasn't all that consistent. They definitely used to make real plays though. They need to get some coaches to straighten them up. I wouldn't call Gambit consistent, though.
UOL is very similar to Gambit at their prime. With some good coaching they can go far into the scene.Yeah, I guess Gambit wasn't all that consistent. They definitely used to make real plays though.
Are there vod's of this?
M5 was consistent. GMB was like playing Russian roulette.
Had a look around and found one on the other Chinese stream's website (let the countdown in the top right hit zero before it starts).

Nice to see Xmithie back in the lcs. He won't be at IEM Cologne, so Thinkcard is replacing him. CLG resigned Link too.
