League of Legends Championship Series: Season 4

tear + mejais + deathcap is a hilarious amount of ap

that being said they got the dragon off that build's lack of mid pressure

the game snowballed pretty hard off that early dragon since it cemented the stronger c9 lanes and allowed them to get a lot of deep wards and just make kikis useless

btw new mejais starts with 5 stacks. it's a great item on lux.

the problem here isn't lux, it's just some terrible decisions uol made and some great map control from c9

also uol needed a locket like 10 minutes ago

I always rush tear with Lux, support OR mid.
The staff will get finished by the time I actually need it. That is like end of midgame :D

If you're not turning it into Seraphs anytime soon I would rather get RoA instead of tear.
roa on lux makes no sense, it's a lot of money for useless stats like health and you still have to stack it for 10 minutes

you get tear because it's cheap so it allows you to buy more damage. i don't know if i would build it on a professional game because it's such a snowbally build but tear is the quickest way to building a deathcap. i personally think this build is kind of weird in s5 because blue elixir is so shit but since mejais got buffed it's still pretty nice

i think maybe he should've gone morellos into mejais. the way he built he wasn't left with many options if his team was doing like shit

i'm guessing the synergy wasn't there for tsm since they have a new member

plus tsm is known to be really bad playing against cheesy comps while c9 was super cold and focused and really tore them apart

i always want the cheese to win but c9 deserves it

first dragon is pretty overpowered tho

it's like 600 gold in items for everyone and you don't even have to back to get it

and it scales with game time

it's pretty stupid

(not that the exp on the old dragon wasn't overpowered either)

There's a ridiculously funny match going on in China's Demacia Cup right now between Energy Pacemaker Carries and StarHorn Royal Club. SHRC are 1-0 up but look to have had one of their internal disagreements in champion select again in game 2. Uzi is now playing mid Riven. Their top laner is playing AD carry Ezreal, with inSec as his support, playing Blitzcrank. Their mid laner, Corn, is jungling Warwick. This has meant their support has been left to play top lane. He chose Renekton and got solo killed by the enemy Annie solo lane after 6 minutes. They're losing heavily at the moment.

Edit: Insec and Uzi have died a combined 14 times in 18 minutes. SHRC still have a chance with how stupid this game is. 40 kills before 20 minutes.

Well C9 v Alliance was a wonderful game (of ADCs) so IDK about better than anything in EU

I hope UoL get the necessary support staff to deepen their play and ALL need to get their heads out of their asses and take a chance on some random analysts/coaches or import them from Korea

UOL's top, mid and support are quite sound. Jungle and Marksman need a bit of improvement. Above all, they need a better shotcaller / map movement. I feel that C9 beat them mostly through those aspects. For example, they went on with a base race against C9 who had Baron buff. Not to mention C9 had Lucian splitpushing without retaliation on top of Janna defending.

Are there vod's of this?

UoL's teamfighting is really pretty good. They need some more work to really stand against the teamfighting of c9 but to be fair, c9 has the best teamfighting in NA.

You're 100% right though. UoL got completely out maneuvered on the map. Hai was really showing his experience here and making the better calls all the way around. Again, they're facing one of the most stable LCS teams in the world so it's hard to say where they'll land after a split or two of practice and competition. The picks were a little off too. C9 out picked them across the board too. C9 was picking to win all three games.

UoL look really good all things considered. Might be a reason to watch EU LCS this year.

EU really suffers from passive and inconsistent play, and the only teams that managed to get past this problem were Fnatic and Gambit, and look where they are now.

They need to get some coaches to straighten them up. I wouldn't call Gambit consistent, though.

Nice to see Xmithie back in the lcs. He won't be at IEM Cologne, so Thinkcard is replacing him. CLG resigned Link too.

Yeah I don't think NA teams will do very well at IEM Cologne. CLG with a sub/challenger jungler and a new top will probably get dumpstered, and Dignitas has Kiwikid which I honestly think is a huge liability for their botlane. Dignitas might do well, but I worry about communication issues, they were looking really rough at the end of the season. I'm not sure a new top and ADC will fix those issues.
