League of Legends Championship Series: Season 4

what the fuck lemondogs

There were also significant concerns that the reason it was taking so long to file their roster is that they were trying to sell the LCS slot back to the old roster (the ones that tried to re-qualify as a different team and failed) due to some pretty suspicious management shenanigans that were going down during the process.

It's resulted in some changes in the way roster swaps and finalizing rosters works LCS-wide.

I think Jatt is going be kept awake tonight trying to work out what happened in CLG/Curse. Meanwhile EG dunk Wiz in first few minutes, do not take tower for 15 minutes and then get LeBlanc'd.

Regarding the C9/Dig game, C9 kept trying to go on Jinx. As he was so far ahead, why not go for Scarra? That is a honest question, there may be something I missed. Was it a poor decision, or was Gragas simply less likely to get blown up with Seekers and being Gragas?

yeah, not being able to take the turret with bf vs vamp scepter was pretty bad.

Leblanc instakilling Mundo. Clearly tanks aren't op.

Yeah that was a pretty impressive chunk of health he evaporated. But its expected because Bonkers had items for killing him(DFG + VS).

I just think its funny the amount of disrespect tanks can throw at carries with the same amount of gold invested in builds. But I was raised in the twilight of S1 where AD Carries were lategame gods.

Its not that I dont think it was fair, but its unsettling.

C9 pick Riven mid, dumpstered in mid which likely loses the game. EG pick Riven mid, gets dumpstered in mid which likely loses the game.

Hey Voy, who do you want to play next...oh. Even worse, apparently Riven was picked into LeBlanc. Still, least it is not over yet, and I am majorly impressed by Curse. In that I thought they would be awful, and they haven't been.

Well, so far.

Yeah i thought after seeing Coast wreck EG with the Leblanc >> Riven matchup they would not pick right into that again.

Pretty sure there was a Riven mid yesterday too... Seems like for a highly mechnical player Yasuo would be a better AD mid pick due to his passive and W, and the early game advantage before she gets those few levels needed for a combo.

Embarrassing last pick for Voyboy. Picked into a bad matchup and Riven didn't fit his own team comp at all.

I haven't watched pro LoL matches in about 8 months. It looks like TSM isn't as dominant as it once was. C/D?

They've been overturned by Cloud 9 for the top spot, and XDG (then Vulcun) managed to lead them for most of last season as well, but they were still miles ahead of the rest of the pack - and that's when they still had Reggie rather than Bjergsen. You should definitely be expecting a Top 3 finish from them, and it'll probably be down to them facing Cloud 9 for the top spot when it's all said and done.

As far as the international scene goes, well, maybe they'll actually win a game versus an Asian team this year! I still wouldn't expect them to actually take a set, though, much less push into the Top 3 at Worlds.

Oh, so that is why you ban Yasuo. Got to say I enjoyed that last one. Much better than the usual boring top tank snoozefest. Coast had a teamplan, executed the split push, had some excellent spears from Shiftur and just looked good in general.

Helps I really like ZionSpartan as a top laner though.

How was Mancloud ever considered the top NA mid laner? He's been terrible in every game so far.

He was? According to whom?

I mean he is good but I think he usually is left to carry XDG/Vulcan when shit goes sour and unless he is playing a champion with shoulders that broad it wont happen.

I would generally rate him higher than Shiptur overall and better than Reginald was mechanically but I feel Scarra and Reginald were always better as playmakers; Hai and Link are generally better all around. Voy has never been the same since he left Dig

Based off of last season performance Bjergson probably has the best mechanical skill in the NA crowd. Scarra does seem to go Super Saiyan when he plays Zed in soloqueue though.

voyboy picking riven into leblanc is very weird but the wukong annie combo was pretty rad

I'm just glad curse won some games

but yea bjerg is just on a level of his own

Which games are good today?

I read something about CLG vs CRS being tactical?

It was a 25 minute game that ended with 4 kills to 0. I suppose it's worth watching as an example of how to drive the nails in with a siege comp (or how not to come back vs. a siege comp), but mostly it's just Curse playing some of the most garbage League you'll ever see. They had movement abilities on every champion of their team and were still eating every Nidalee spear they could get their face smashed into.

To be honest, most of today's games were pretty poor in general. Aside from that CLG/CRS game, they were pretty much all victims of a super snowball champion getting spun up and just rolling straight over the opposing team. (Yasuo, Leblanc, etc.)

So, who thinks Alliance will claim their first victory to tonight? How long until roster changes if not? I'm hoping they'll stick it out and aim for the long term.

Welp, they got one. Moving on on to the top of the bottom of the barrel!

derp was pretty bad on leblanc too

at one moment he dfg'd renek instead of lucy and lost his whole burst. I can relate since big dudes like renek often block your cursor and you end up fucking up your combo, it happens to me more often than I'd like

I love seeing all this Pantheon

It makes me sad that the casters don't seem to understand Jungle Pantheon.

As long as Pantheon is unseen on the map, Grand Skyfall being off cooldown has effective value. You don't have to (or often want to) use it every time it's available to gank: by having it available and your location being unknown, you mute all aggression on the map and effectively make your lanes ungankable for fear that you'll suddenly drop into the middle of the fight. If you're playing an extremely gankable carry (like Morde) the threat of it is more valuable in laning phase than the ganks it can execute; it basically becomes a pseudo-Shen ultimate.

I regret tuning in for LCS to watch some Trundle play, because there was so much to be bothered by during both of SKP's matches. On top of their top laner rocking the Li'l Slugger skin.

New name, same throwbargains. Those overextensions mid-game completely changed the momentum of the game. Also, dat baron steal, the attempt by XDG was way too early, blew their combo at like 4k health.
