Yeah, "oneshot" is not truly a oneshot in league. Only champs that could actually oneshot someone is old Nidalee and someone like Veigar.That's like...4 shots though. It was funny on the MSI stream last night when someone said "they're going to oneshot whatever" and then had to follow up with "well oneshot is more of a technical term" or something, and "I mean, they're going to do a couple of spell rotations and then someone is going to die".
But I guess "8-10 shot" doesn't sound as dramatic.

i've had one elder dragon but no rift heralds. elder dragon takes forever to kill, specially without your adc. it's really risky to do elder dragon, it's kinda like baron
also earth dragon is really good, on game 1 the enemy team had jungle malzahar (so broken) and he got 3 earth dragons
that was so brutal

Yeah, I had 3 earth dragons one game too. It's ridiculous how fast objectives go down. It's likely one of the best ones.

Normals are absurd right now.
My team had a trundle mid, ryze top and riven jungle.
Their team had a teemo support and aerion Sol jungle.
I kind of just want to go back to ranked just to have some effort put in.
Takeaways from that game:
Brand is strong.
Riven jungle still doesn't work
Aureon Sol jungle still doesn't work but works better than riven jungle.
Teemo support is really bad

Zyra is ridiculous right now. I was playing Cait (me) / Zyra against Ashe / Sona, and she was just harassing that poor duo for days. I didn't even have to do much other than my usual farm / poke pattern. Just last hit and walk in to collect kills when they were low enough or my Rengar showed up to gank. Tremendously easy lane.
That's today? I'll have to give it a try on console since I play League on a laptop. Maybe I could get OW to work? It is a $2k laptop after all.

They haven't said anything about hotfix nerfs, just buffs for Cass, Swain and maybe Vlad. Malz is definitely getting nuked by next patch though.
Zyra totally counters Sona so that checks out. Sona' poke is very risky against hard CC champions such as Zyra and Morgana. Even the most passive Zyra player can easily a dominate a lane with an over aggressive Sona.

So my thoughts on new Swain-
He feels alot better during lane.
The new items really make him into something else.
Last nights game was the first time I really felt CDR being a hinder to my enjoyment of Swain~
His ultimate is good, but the little casting freeze when you turn it on is annoying.(Hopefully a bug).
Swain feels good right now. Could be built as a battle mage and be the front line, and thanks to the new items he succeeds in being able to do this. His Q is great for farming and it's good for harassing, as well as controlling the area. They mentioned Swain not feeling like a tactician, but with his Q being a little AoE that stays to an area, it lets you control the flow of an area by blocking enemies and telling them 'If you go through here, you'll take damage and be slowed'.
He's pretty great.

would say they're no more sexualized than in league, which is still a lot, but it's not like worrying or anything
i'm interested if the game gets popular in korea, i would be really into watching koreans play overwatch, tho i'm not entirely sure if the game's deep enough to be really competitive. i think it's mostly for the quick respawns, which make it really fun for casual play but for competitive it doesn't seem great to watch

yeah it's kinda funny seeing people be all dismissive of the fire dragon but at least my friends were all over the other 3
only played two games and i'm real rusty but i didn't feel super pressured to take dragons anyways. will have to see over more games
i wonder if zyra is getting touched on. from the one game i played against her she didn't seem completely broken but she's really oppressive to play against (lots of things to track, her seeds, plants and her spells) and she shouldn't be able to solo baron. i feel like lowering the rate she spawns plants could be enough, idk, her dmg is def out of whack it feels
probably a good idea to nerf his jungling a bunch, he seems super op
i really hate the idea of his passive since it means he walks up to your lane and gets free damage on you and there's nothing you can do about it, but i can live with it if he has big tradeoffs elsewhere
Yeah, I'm kind of annoyed she got updated because she would outdamage the entire team before, AND she was hardly ever played or banned, and now Riot may nerf her into a worse-than-before state.
*edit* Same for Malz, he was usually decent but not played a ton in bronze/silver, and now I'm concerned he might become too bad. I haven't even seen how many voidlings he gets yet.

Zyra's laning harass right now is just so good. Even at level 1, she can put out tons of poke. The clip is from lvl 1 from my ranked game right now.
