I bought and played her a few times. Late game i'll usually throw the ball in and W then Ult. E whoever needs the shield. Your adc's dmg should take care of the rest.

She seems really versatile though, you can save your w and r for peeling off your adc. Throwing the ball in and bringing it back over and over should do some damage, especially in the little stalemates before a teamfight begins.

Transition to a utility mage. By late game you should have close to max CDR and a good amount of AP so that your shield and slow field are up every ~5 seconds. Her ultimate paired with a champ with strong initiation wins teamfights. By late game her Q damage isn't too hot, but it has such a low cooldown you can be cheeky and buy a lichbane and constantly proc it.

Any rate, you may have guessed this by now but the knock on Orianna is that if she doesn't have a strong early game then she wont contribute much damage at any point of the game, at least not as much as you'd want out of your mid.

nope

her scaling isn't anivia's but she still deals insane poke damage with her qwe combo, and she's an utility mage, so that's what she's gonna do, speed up people, shield duders, etc.

she's amazing in a team with a good initiate, since she can chain her ult with the initiator and win the teamfight instantly, then clean up with 300+ damage every two seconds. that she can do all game long
