Because lucian has two pistols, has no cc whatsoever, im inclined to think hes going to be a hard carry

since his guns were different colours, and to differentiate him from vayne he'll probably have some gameplay element involving them

he might also create a clone that shoots at his target. kinda like a mesmer from gw2

his suvivability might be a short term stealth, or it might be baked into his clone ability

basically hes a hard carry adc with some special sauce auto attack modifying ability that can create a clone of himself that attacks target champion

my bet is that he'll have some sort of non targetted gap closer, % health damage, a reviving passive and will leave a mark on spells that he can proc with autoattacks.

In regards to Lucian, the unique AoE pattern is on his W, not his ult. I'm kind of expecting his ult to just be single target burst.

Since someone mentioned Disgaea, I hope he has Totenkreuz. Though that would totally clash with his design/lore possibly ("Cross of Death").

I feel there could be some cool interactions if he used some sort of ricochet mechanics, what with the gunkata theme and all

like you shoot at a wall and it bounces back and you can harass people behind the minion line, though I can see that being kind of frustrating to play against

Getting ganked and killed at your second buff is one of the most depressing things.

It's like the game is telling you that you are now the sacrificial lamb. Your main purpose is to farm your own jungle and cry, hoping that the enemy jungle won't kick you in your balls again and lick the tears off your cheeks by taking the big creeps and leaving you small ones.

When team fights happen, you run in and hope you can distract the enemy carries long enough with your life so your team can carry your sorry ass.

but hes not a snowballer (unless your opponent doesnt know that atrox lvl 2 is crazy). he doesnt abuse some inherent badness in pubs because he just stands and auto attacks you, unlike other pubstompers that just outright kill you

Just gotta play a few matches. Use a wide variety of champs, see which one if your favorite. Before I started playing, I hated MOBAs and LoL in general. Now, I'm playing every night with some friends.

Also if you get destroyed in the beginning, don't let it get to you.

The community can be quite brutal at times. Especially early on because some people are playing on their smurf (second) account - they often have no tolerance and forget how it was to be a "newbie".

I got into it after attending MLG Providence in 2011 and getting to see how awesome the community is first hand. It was a bit overwhelming at first when I started playing but with some friends helping me along the way I got adjusted to everything pretty nicely.

Also, first post here, use to be active in HaloGAF but Halo has turned to shit so I guess I'll be more active here, if you'll have me.

As has been said, the best way to get into LoL is to try it with friends or play the game with a mentor friend. Krypt0nian recently just started playing i think. (where did he go? maybe league killed him)

you can also watch some esport VODs. a recent fun one was NALCS - CLG v TSM w3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqpFjeFHiE0. See if you feel anything.


To get into the game without friends:
1. do the tutorials
2. play a beginner vs ai game or two
3. read a beginners guide e.g. something like this: http://www.solomid.net/guides.php?g=25755. many beginner videos kinda suck and i should go make one myself.
4. play some more beginner vs ai games with that new knowledge until you are level 4-5 (should take maybe 10 games
5. enter the scary world of PvP
- there will be a lot of information and a lot of different champions - to avoid info-overload and fear, just focus on your own play and your own champion. Focus on improving mechanical things like, last hitting, aiming skills, positioning, kiting etc. Take time to think about the items and what they do.
6. keep playing, read guides on specific champions you play or ones that give you trouble (a good website could be lolpro.com, solomid.net or lolking.net) and think about the items and what they are useful for.

Minion aggro mechanics:
They follow a priority list of targets:
1. Cries for help from a friendly champion
2. Closest enemy target

If you make an "auto attack" (which is the action performed when you right click on an enemy) on a champion - the champion will issue a cry for help. Every minion has an "aggro radius", which is the area in which it can hear cries for help from enemy champions. If a minion can hear a cry for help, itll start attacking you until a few seconds after you stop auto attacking the champion.

Tower Aggro Mechanics:
Priority list:
1. Cries for help from friendly champion
2. cannon minion
3. melee minion
4. caster minion

unlike minions, if you deal ANY damage to an enemy champion within the aggro radius of their tower, there will be a cry for help and the tower will attack you

You may be wondering who Puszu is, or why we chose him. He is a top tier soloQ player who happens to be free from studying or any big commitment, so he was able to come to our Gaming House right away and start playing with the team, as our ADC. With YellOwStaR now on support, the bot-lane of Fnatic is completely different now and this will be noticeable.

I also want to make it clear that Puszu is a temporary substitute for Fnatic, who will play for us until Martin "Rekkles" Larsson turns 17 and is able to play LCS. We hope you respect our decision and will continue to support us, we are your Spring Split Champions and will be back in top form.
