LEGO Dimensions |OT| Not Lost Dimensions

I just picked this up and building the minifigs sure brought back a lot of good memories. I still suck at getting capes on though.

It seems my Shaggy is missing his flashlight :(.

Boo, the Canadian shop.lego.com cancelled my Lego City Fun Pack order due to "more demand than expected". Makes me think they only did a small run because they thought nobody would care about the property, or Dimensions is on the outs.

I really shouldn't have bought this game. I like it way too much and I've already bought two level packs (Doctor Who and Back to the Future) and I nearly bought a third (Ghostbusters).

I'm at the point where I want to open every adventure world and get every level & story pack. Crap.

Does anybody have impressions of the lego city undercover world? I thought about getting it, but don't want to move back from my switch unless it's really good. I loved the original game.

Someone in this thread shared an excellent Excel spreadsheet from Reddit that includes a list of everything you need for 100% completion. Don't download it or a desire to check boxes will overwhelm you. It's too late for me, but save yourself.

If you've ignored my advice and find yourself obsessed remember every few weeks some store will have them on sale, if you live in CA there's a dollar type store with some packs, and Five Below also has some.

I'm starting to worry about the last few sets in this wave that haven't got a release date or talked about. I want my Raven and Beetlejuice figs damn it.

Framerate can drop a bit on the Switch (mainly in the open world areas), but it's still a pretty great game. It was my first time playing it. Haven't tried it in docked mode yet just played it all the way through in handheld mode.

They'll likely come out still. And they'll probably be sorta rare like the last Disney Infinity stuff was after it released.
I really want the Powerpuff stuff, haha.

The quality of the BttF and DW level pack levels is really good. The BttF level is a bit on the short side but what's there is really great and the DW level is one huge love letter to the series. I got a huge kick out of the hidden UNIT base.

For me getting 100% would mean buying every figure to complete the characters page. I'm content not going for 100% and just getting whatever gold bricks I can and using the hero for hire thing to get what I can't.

I plan on getting all the figures I want on sale. It's how I got the two level packs.

Gonna shell out the $$$ for Green Arrow?

Thanks for the impressions, but I was wondering about the lego city undercover world in lego dimensions. I saw Chase McCain in the store, and was thinking about it!

Wave 9 is hitting this Fall

Teen Titans Go (Rave, Starfire, Beast Boy), Powerpuff Girls and Beetlejuice

So I'm guessing TTG will have a Team Pack (with 2 figs) and a Fun/Level Pack? Really hoping for a level pack, but chances are it'll be a fun pack. Wonder if they'll let you use existing Robin & Cyborg figs to complete the team.

Rumor has it that it is being cancelled, just they still were going to finish out Year 2 before officially announcing it.
These are still year 2, yeah. :)

Ok, thanks. :)

I really hope Dimensions isn't cancelled. I've been getting into it again recently and collecting more of the sets. I even bought Supergirl and Green Arrow. Would just really like to see what they could bring to the game for year 3.

E3 should be telling for them. I'm missing Supergirl and the new stuff that just came out. I'll finish my collection if they decide to continue the game. Fingers crossed!

I don't have everything, but I have most of everything. I am missing the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts large playsets (the $50 sets) and the smaller sets of from both of those franchises (Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts). I think I have everything else.

What I am looking for now is a good storage option for my characters and vehicles. Right now I just have them sitting on the mantel above my fireplace. lol (never use it)

Space and storage are this games biggest enemies. The reason I seldom play it anymore is because I hate sifting through my collection. I wish there was a way to just add the discs to your collection and never deal with the portal again. I totally understand why this isn't an option, but it would make this game much more enjoyable.

There isn't a big Harry Potter set. There's just the Harry/Voldemort team pack and a Hermione fun pack. No level or story pack.

I bought a Plano 2-3700 stowaway with adjustable dividers from Amazon to keep my collection in, all but the largest vehicles fit. It's fairly easy to find everything and unless you're violently shaking it they aren't going to break.

Vehicles: ArtBin Super Satchels. (Although wait for the price to go down; it seems to fluctuate pretty wildly, I've paid $10-12 for most of mine.)

Characters: You can use those as well, probably; there are smaller ArtBin containers but they aren't quite big enough, I found. However, instead I use these minifigure cases. They cost a bit more ($20-$25 is what I paid for mine, and they hold less), but look neat.

(Although they make me wish there were antistuds on the figure discs!)

Fantastic Beasts is currently $30 on Amazon and Walmart btw.

Amen. I have an entertainment cabinet full of this stuff and I'm not voluntarily breaking all of it out unless my kids ask for it. I'd happily play it on my own if I didn't have to get up every five minutes to swap something.

Ah yes, I was thinking of the Ghostbusters story pack. I already have the Batman one. Also, I don't have the Adventure Time characters yet, either.

That is a possibility. What do you do with your largest vehicles? And do you keep the bases attached to the characters/vehicles? I would rather find something where I can just pull the character/vehicle in and out and not worry about reattaching bases. Also, I have a lot of characters/vehicles and would need to get quite a few of these storage containers.

Ok, now that seems awfully big (deep). I'm assuming you are just stacking the characters/vehicles in each of the bins? I would rather find something where I can somewhat display them in the case (not stacked up), but a character or vehicle fits in it's respective compartment completely.

The display cases may work, although would prefer to get something where it can be moved (like with a handle) if needed. Although I guess picking up those cases you could just stack and move.

I was actually thinking something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FWMQY8M/?tag=neogaf0e-20

Has anyone used this?

I saw that, thanks. I also noticed the Ghostbusters story pack is, as well. I also need that one eventually.

Dimensions is the only LEGO game that I haven't bothered to get all of the hidden stuff for. It's such a pain to have to go through all the figures and drop the right one on the portal, and then juggle around the other two correctly for the task.

If they would have made you play with the character on the first time you used them, but then unlocked/could switch to them like all the rest of the LEGO games, I think it would have worked way better.

I'm able to keep the bases on everything and I've only got two vehicles that don't fit so they're on display on a shelf. I liked this container because it was cheaper than the Lego specific and it's pretty much the same thing.

All fun packs, team packs, level packs, and story packs are half-of on ToysRUs.com right now, and I know Target and Best Buy will price match them (I imagine Walmart will too). Amazon also has Goonies, Chase McCain, and Hermione half-off as well.

My girlfriend and I picked up Lego Batman, Goonies, and Hermione, and will probably get E.T. too.

Yeah the complete lack of anything at E3 is telling.
Apparently levels were patched out? Don't know how true that is.

I wasn't able to watch but based on Reddit they seemed to just show the upcoming stuff, Powerpuff Girls, Beetlejuice, and Teen Titans Go! There was no mention of the future, which is bullshit, if they know just tell people, imo

Well we knew before that Skylanders is taking at least a year off. Will there be something in fall 2018? Who knows? But it's not surprising there was nothing at E3 this year.

Ah, I did not know that.

Surprising, since there was at least two studios working on Skylanders and the game beneficts from continuing playing since old figures still available can be used on new games. A time gap will break this chain. Well, the market seems to be over anyway.
