lol, I am sorry I haven't been contributing to LEGOGAF as much as before, I've been crazy busy with life, but trust me I read the thread regularly and me and my now 7 years old son are still buying LEGO as much as ever.
So is this the year of a new UCS Millennium Falcon? rumors are popping up everywhere

Lol. Sorry if I sounded too hard, wasn't the intention. The problem is that this kind of talk usually goes down the hole very quickly. And neither the buyer thinks it is legit, it is a kind of a joke post.

The manual has the Lego logo which I don't think counterfeiters are copying. I'm on mobile so I can't reverse image search it to see if the seller is just using a stolen image. I'll report back in 2-4weeks, but my intention was to roll the dice and get really lucky-not to get a knock off which belongs in the garbage heap. eBay has great seller protection so it's not too big of a risk on my part.

I was confused at first to, thats horrible placement. If you look at the actual book you can see the fig in the circle, its different. I'm just trying to place where its from, it looks like Wonder Woman dressed like Deathstroke.

The figure included in the actual bubble on the book seems to have all over red/blue armour? Need to see a bigger picture before deciding but im prolly gonna pass.

Problem is that God of War outfit did not stick for more than just a couple of months, and there is nothing relevant about it.
And actually purple Batman has its merits (you can kill me for saying that)

Collected a few batman CMFs in the last few days, and was able to get Nurse Harley Quinn twice like I was hoping for (one for me, and one for my mom). I haven't found a Red Hood yet which is one that I really want, but I dig getting March Harriet, Glam Metal Batman and er Fairy Batman lol.
Glam Metal Bats cracks me up, cause it reminds me on Batman's opinion of rock and roll in the comics.

Not to be sarcastic, but look for the hood. Only CMF in the series with a dome-shaped headpiece. The chest piece is huge too.

The hood is the best thing to look for. While the chest piece is also unique for this CMF line, it's a bit too close to the Calculator Man chest piece.
Might also feel for the two guns. They're small, and I think he's the only one that came with handguns (though watch out for March Harriet's tommygun, which is bigger)

Also, it's quite possible there wasn't any Red Hoods left unless you know the box was a fresh one. Often leftovers are stuffed into one box or mixed in a new box. Last trip to the LEGO store I found a box and maybe 1/2 a box. I only found 1 eraser head dude and 1 orca killer whale in that batch.

Saw that on a poster on the South Bank last week. I might pop along if its cheap to get into - I walk past most days. But if its just that '3D printed lego' look then it doesn't seem that interesting to me.

The dome is significantly taller than a regular helmet like Calculator would have. And with March Harriet, just feel for the ears. The opening on the bottom of the dome on Red Hood is also larger, as it is designed to go around a 2x4 circular area.
Hope that helps a bit.

I will never understand why they went with that blue for that set. And UCS sets have come a long, long way since then.
LEGO needs to do something about their youtube presence.
Dumping tons of copies of their videos in all of their supported languages all on one channel is murder for your subscription feed. It also makes searching their channel for specific videos harder.
WHY can't they make a different youtube channel for each region?
It continues to drive me up the wall.

The Phantom went straight to the collective though, such a boring ship. Thrawn is a really, really expensive minifig. The A-Wing would "only" be overpriced if I didn't already have the one I got for Ackbar, now it's overpriced AND redundant. The Y-Wing looks cool but in return it has no interesting figures.

Yeah the difference to today's sets is huge.
But i mean this was the first UCS set along with the 7191 X-Wing.
They made the start for all those awesome sets we got over the last 16 years.
And because of that, this set will always have a special place in my heart (but i'm still gonna remove all the blue parts).
Y-Wing is realy good. Great model, quite a fun build (apart from the repetitive engines, which also have lot's of small pieces. Great look, tedious to build), the bombing mechanism is great, etc...
I don't entirely agree on the figs either. It's always fun to have another calamari, and the white hairy monster is going to be pretty unique and sought after probably considering he barely shows up in the film but was pretty heavily featured in the promo's.

Totally agreed. I don't use any Youtube subscription features but every time I visit their channel to search for a designer video I'm faced with a ton of foreign language Friends shorts.
Is the Phantom out already? And if so does anybody know if it's a retail exclusive in Canada? I haven't seen it yet.

It's been out in Europe for some time.
I see Jang got that dragon set I wanted. I hope it will start turning up around here too, Elves should be March both in the US and Europe.
Got a paycheck today, and immidiatly went to amazon.de to order Clayface and Catwoman's catcycle.
No willpower whatsoever (Or maybe on the contrary, unlimited willpower, because I willed both sets, and now they are on their way).
Riddlers Riddle Racer will be next, but that one I'll probably pick up in a toy shop over here as the price difference is minimal compared to Amazon.

You seem to have misspelled "Lego allowance".
Bought and built the new Y-Wing.
It is great, especially the bomb-rack system. So simple yet it works very well! Shame about the low capacity, and loading 4 bombs is practically impossible but whatever, the idea counts.
Hellish amount of small parts though, especially the ice skates used in engines. Difficult to get them attached properly. Stickers are also an annoyance... why can't they put two sticker sheets to each set with stickers, because it is inevitable something will get messed up.
Now i just need a modern TIE Bomber, hope we'll get one at some point. (Preferably Empire colors.)
Also would love a UCS Y-Wing (and UCS TIE Bomber).
