Based on what was told to people in London, only first 100 get some special numbered card with some holder or what directly in the shop. All others will get a the card shipped by snail mail to their VIP address. Even the ones purchasing in stores. It should be personalized and already replacing the normal VIP card.

But ... as usual there is not enough clear information.

Yeah I believed it was online as well.
Someone in the queue posted this:

"The deal is that the first 100 get a special VIP card in a presentation box, individually numbered THX-1138-001 to THX-1138-100.

You can either open it on the spot and get the card tied to your VIP account, or keep it sealed, and wait for a normal black VIP card to be sent out to you within 6 weeks.

100-150 get the normal black VIP card mailed to them within 6 weeks, as above."

After weeks of building and waiting for more bricklink orders... I present the Mecha Townhouse! I wanted to make a townhouse that uses all my spare yellow bricks, but I realized I didn't have the pieces I wanted for an interior. So I did something a little different. I made a robot house that fully transforms.

From the street, it looks like a regular custom lego townhouse.

Lol at the Mech-house...

I did one when I was (far) younger for my Lego City, and I always thought I was weird. It wasn't as nice, though, I didn't have as many different pieces in the 90s.

I read store and online, as long as you order the falcon before the end of the year... I hope it's not limited (and I'll be able to buy a Falcon soon enough... I probably won't be able to order it right at the opening)

But seriously that is really awesome. Now you have to do a whole town, Abodebots vs. Decepticondos!

I really hate this last minute hype. Last few hours and here I am getting ready to try and order the UCS Falcon again after deciding not to. And again its that stupid black vip card that is pushing me over the edge. I know that is such a dumb reason but these little things add to the hype and make me weak.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! Submitted it to lego ideas since there were some requests on reddit. I'll let y'all know if it gets approved. It probably wont be accepted even if it gets the votes since I have no idea how a lego designer would make this up to the lego standards for an official set. Lots of wonky stuff in it. Arms flop down if you tap it slightly, and the model requires the legs to be splayed so that the sides of the house can rest on them, since there's not enough force in the axles at the bottom to keep the thing from falling on its side by itself.

I got off work early just so I could be home for when new sets usually go up. I'll still be watching for it, but if it doesn't show up I plan to go to bed around 2-3, wake up around 7 to buy it, and then go back to bed until noon when I usually wake up (hooray evening shift). Of course the worry is that it may not be available even then...
