God, the fact we aren't getting a Mera fig yet is sad.

My girlfriend bought me the Millenium Falcon lego set for my birthday. I've been thinking about getting into some Lego things for a little while and I so happy the build the Falcon. However, has she opened a can of worms? Is this a slipper slope to obsession??
I don't either, but that makes me want build a Great Fox with small airwings...I feel nothing.

Yeah it's already too late.
Welcome to the club. RIP your disposable income.
Any suggestions for a 6-years old boy that may not have a lot of patience for larger sets? I'm somehow lost between easy-to-build sets and normal ~20-30 sets, not able to set on something.

I like the industrial look of the plumbing pipes(?) used for the supports for your shelves. Did you think of that yourself?
Just a heads up to anyone who wanted the tote bag from the online store. You actually need to enter a coupon code "JUNE" to get the bag. I think this is the first time I've seen a free item only available with a code. I bought the Minecraft Mountain Cave and forgot to enter the code .
Good for you, may have been me who recommended those. Those shelves are classy and affordable. I love them and have nine of them in the display area of the Lego basement.
Holy crap. Got more pics? 480x640 pixels aren't enough for such a setup lolFinally tackled some of my backlog. I made some custom shelves and built 5 of these UCS sets in the last 2 months. It's been so tough having the SSD in the box the last few years. A few were already assembled and collecting dust in storage. I think the only thing missing is some led lighting. Any suggestions for good lighting kits?
Just a heads up that there's a new Batgirl fig, and I think it has a unique head. It's packed in with the Lego Batman Movie Blu-ray set at Target.
It's 30612.
Will keep keep an eye out.
Ah missed the post, sorry.

I never bought mixed Lego in a large amount.
Is 30$ for a garbage bag (35l) filled with Lego a steal or not?

Built the 3in1 Turbo Track Racer at the weekend. Great little set, it's like 2/3rds of one of the expert vehicles.
Unexpected Father's Day present: my kids picked out, without my input, the constraction Speeder Bike! My seven year old daughter said "I knew you didn't have this one and I thought he looked cool." I was very surprised.
Also, shout out to oneknightr for making me an offer I couldn't refuse on... well I'll post pictures when it's finished

I went to a marketplace and some guy wanted me to pay $600 for a few tubs of Lego with maybe some Belville stuff, random yellowed castle parts and a cruising ship. The popularity of Lego has driven people crazy.
Yes! But be wary of imitations...
I am shocked and appalled! A reverse image search found this in case anyone else was interested:
Haven't found a source yet though unfortunately.
This is where pintrest took me but there's no credit. Several really cool MOCs here though

Well, this lady is selling those bags for 30$ each and there are 15 in total. I think i'm just gonna try my luck and grab one or two.
Will report back with hopefully some good finds.
Unfair comparison question of the day:
Parisian Restaurant or Saturn V?
Because when double points roll around again, I'll probably get one of the two.
good luck finding the Saturn V
