Level-5 just held their presentation called Level-5 Vision 2023 yesterday. They showed new games and also new trailers for games that were announced at February 2023 Nintendo Direct. One of the big news from this event is that Megaton Musashi is finally getting western release.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam

The trailer confirmed that the story is set after The Unwound Future and now takes place in America. They also announced new VA for Luke and now the puzzle is designed by QuizKnock. Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is coming to Nintendo Switch with no release date.

DecaPolice

DecaPolice is the newest IP from Level-5. It's an detective RPG. They showed a gameplay trailer that mentioned "experience a new kind of crime suspense that breaks the mold from the Layton series." I wonder if the game have any connection to Layton? DecaPolice is coming to PS5, PS4, and Switch in 2023.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

Level-5 showed a longer trailer for Fantasy Life i. One of the big new feature in the sequel is that you can design the island. Fantasy life i is coming on Switch in 2023.

One of the biggest news for me. Megaton Musashi is finally getting an English release. It's an mecha action RPG. You can mix and match the part of your mecha. The English version is not the free-to-play version. It also got cross-play between PS5, PS4, Switch, and Steam. The added more collaboration after Mazinger Z and Getter Robo. Now they added Grendizer, Combattler V, and Voltes V. Megaton Musashi: Wired is coming to PS5/PS4/Switch/PC(Steam) in 2023.

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

The newest entry in Inazuma Eleven. At the start, it was Inazuma Eleven Ares, but they have development troubles. The anime launched first in 2018. Now, they change the game as Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road that have new characters that are different from the Ares anime. It's a soccer RPG, and now the gameplay is more similar to real soccer. The game will have story mode and chronicle mode. In chronicle mode, you can fight against all characters from the previous games. For the Switch and mobile version, you can orient the screen as you like. The animation part for the game is made by Mappa, the studio behind Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Chainsaw Man. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is coming to PS4, Switch, iOS, and Android in 2023.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I'm definitely in for Layton and Fantasy Life

You know... I guess collaborations are really important because I had zero interest but then noticed Getter.

It better have Heats as the theme music.

Megaton Musashi was already announced for PC, but it seems Level-5 announced a PC version for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road yesterday. But it might have gotten lost in the GTA6 leak confusion.
Any other PC ports we should know about Level-5?

Remember Yokai Watch?
Every Level5 franchise is that way, oddly. They announce big plans for a wide multimedia spree, have a fairly- decent looking first game to start the brand off (although even the best of these games leads to fans wondering if they'll every get back to their PS2 heights, or at least make something like Jeanne d'Arc that feels like something from that reign, ) then it takes a while for the game to come out and forever (if ever) for the game to come out beyond Japan, and finally one day you see a Level-5 Vision blurb and you think, "Hey, remember..."

Decapolice looks good for everything other than the character models. Still gonna keep an eye on it though.
