What's everyone Easter weekend plan besides go to Church.

For me. It's Laos New Year. and this year it's not raining (hopefully it doesn't rain so hard today it leaves the place wet by weekend)

We don't do much there. it's just people drinking/dancing/eating and seeing old friends from who knows when.

I thought easter was in april for some reason.

I'm not religious so I'm not going to any services, but it's my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow, so we'll be doing fun stuff all weekend, hopefully!

That sounds like a good time. No church for me, but my wife might take the kids. She/they are Catholic (I'm agnostic, and organized religion just isn't my thing anyway), and I don't think either one of the kids has been to a church since they were baptized.

It's likely that, during that time, the mother-in-law and I will do the cooking for the fam, and hide the Easter eggs for the hunt. We usually have about 5 or 6 kids in the family come over. After that, can't say.

I think I'm staying in on Saturday night this week though. House prep/resting for the next day.

Doing nothing cause I dont do church. Although I'll prob end up making Easter eggs or something for my three little cousins.

Eating some sweets, I guess. But it's not like that's something special that I need a holiday for. So the answer would be "nothing" then. :p

For real. They grew from the caricature that they had in season 1. Connor and asher were my favorites but laurel is the best among the kids.

I always think about this when I'm in the locker room. I'm gay, I can't help but to check out guys, but it always makes me think whether it is or isn't a bad thing to do. And then I think the reason behind separating men and women, and then I think locker rooms/bathrooms should just be unisex, and then I realize the practical impossibility of such thing. I end up checking the guys and feeling guilty though D:

I'm all for unisex locker rooms if only to make people more comfortable with all genders. I remember kids being freaked out in my class about how girls look when we were all about 12 or so. It was so weird to me since I grew up in a household were we sometimes saw each other naked coming out of the bathroom or when standing up from bed.

There are other issues attached to unisex locker rooms of course. But generally I think it's definitely a good idea.

In an ideal world these kind of spaces shouldn't really be separated by gender, but if women get harassed in regular day-to-day situations while being fully clothed I cannot imagine the mess it would be in a locker room.

Or maybe that is what this society is missing, the demystification of the other gender's body, what do I know anyway.

Yeah i grew up in a more opposite household, but now i dont really care about like it anymore.

Ah, there's a difference between being thirsty in the locker room and noticing. Sometimes you can't help but notice, and it's not a crime to be attracted to something, with all the understanding in the world that nothing will come of it.

Whenever it happens to me (frequently), I just focus myself on the task at hand, which is usually something like putting my socks on or think about work.

Yeah i just change and get my busy done and go.
When i was younger and didnt know i was bi, i was always super paranoid about being caught looking at some dudes junk in the shower or locker room. I would still take a peak.

Story of my (young) life, and it's what led to my first sexual experience.

I'm still wrapping my head around calling that a sexual experience, because I've spent THAT fucking long pretending it wasn't. Thinking about how much of a wimp I was all those years...I kind of don't like that part of me. The closet part, not the part about being sexually attracted to men and women.

Anyway, now that I'm older, I don't sneak peeks anymore. If I see it, well then...OK. Typically I'm hauling ass to get to work. Had a moment with a fella last month that involved lots of smiling back and forth while we were changing, but that's about it.

Yeah, it is funny because i have stories like that and for like the longest time i never really thought of it. Like i always just kinda hide it in the back of my head and i never really thought about it, like i just kinda thought i was straight but i would still look at men. Then few months ago i finally sat down and thought about it.

Also it is alot different growing up with the internet and porn, that always weird for me. Like i would at just what ever type of porn, except for straight up gay porn, even though i would watch videos of guys doing solo stuff. Oh yeah 4chan messed me up pretty bad, you dont want to be finding /b/ at like 13. I saw too many things i wish i had not saw.

Yeah, it's one of those life things. Like, I hate the fact that if I stayed in, and was very good at, being closeted. I doubt that I'd have the life, wife, and children that I have now had I not done that, however.

I knew that what I did back then was sexual, I just played it off in my head as some experimentation. Which, no, it wasn't. That guy and I could have been considered an item as much as he and I hung out. And played contact sports. And swam together. And played videogames in each others room. And wrestled. On the bed. And (redacted). But no homo, right?

Ah well. Life, right? Really profound how much you can trick yourself when you feel like you need to.

Yeah. I dont have any of those stories because i never really hung out with people. Like i had a bunch of friends but i never had them over and they never had me over.

I always did gay things and just forced them into the back of my head and never really thought about them. I kinda always saw it as like"oh im just looking at this dude to see how he does it", and made up shit like that even though it was a complete lie. Now i just expect my sexuality and what ever weird things im into(which is alot)

Oh yeah probably if there wasnt that anonymous confession thread on gaf i would still probably be questioning it.

Aw, I'm sure they are nice though, quit being so humble. : )
I did Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu six days a week for about three hours a day for about a year; I went with my older brother who got better a lot faster than I did, he goes to a different martial arts gym now doing the same stuff.
I'm probably just going to try to stay on a regular gym schedule again and just take a couple classes a week somewhere else this summer. I don't want to do three hours a day again.

They are pretty nice, but be warned that while green cheeks are great for first time parrot owners, they're also nippy creatures. Still love mine though, even if she bites a little bit.

Damn that alot, i couldnt be able to do that. Even in track which was 5 days a week for an hour i was destroyed and track is just running martial arts is your whole body.

Thanks, it felt easier to me than track since it was mostly hitting pads in Muay Thai for an hour, Jiu-Jitsu learning for about an hour, then mostly sparring in Jiu-Jitsu with whoever stayed (which translates into rolling around on the ground trying to arm bar or choke the other dude until they tapped. I was the annoying guy who didn't tap often thanks to double jointed arms, but everyone caught on that they could pull more after a while. : D )

Running is harder, congrats on doing track for five days a week; can't do it.

Thanks, glad to be here.

Trust me when I say it isn't painful, being choked proper and armed barred are so quick you'll tap and feel more uncomfortable than anything. Plus, if you didn't choke me proper at the time, I'd feel nothing; neck was stupidly thick, hell I know neck muscle building exercises still (my neck throbbed daily at the time, muscle spasm, that hurt like hell).

The dude who ran it used a community center and people slowly stopped coming over the course of a year (class of like 10 or 9, down to about 3 or 4 people a day). Me and my brother were kinda the last people to leave, can't really spar if you got no one to spar with. After that, I was looking for another place, but since I don't like going out to places as it is, I never bothered to actually go to other martial art places around my area. My brother kept at it though, he's damn good.

After a while, I just stopped searching completely and focused more on Calculus in high school. Now, two years later, I feel like doing some grappling again, not to extent of my high school years, but something nonetheless.
