The Lost Sea/Xeodrifter batch has gone A LOT better. It's growing pains right now.

Finally, got my Octodad games in yesterday... Took a lot longer than I thought it would to reach me in the far away land of Canada. I blame money hungry Canada Post.

Glad everything is coming together now though.

I've been wanting to positively comment on the latest fulfillment center since Monday. Xeodrifter served as my third purchase with the company so I don't know if that was a factor in having a complete address on the shipping label, but the order did arrive almost an entire week than earlier shipments. I bundled several stickers from previous games that I passed on and I was surprised to see they went further with adding both of the Lost Sea merchandise as a little bonus. It was a small gesture that was greatly appreciated!

I'm thankful for everyone else on the board posting about their experiences, too. I was initially going to solely purchase Soldner X-2 later in the month, but I probably take a chance with nabbing Breach & Clear: Deadline in the same round. I wasn't aware that a spin-off existed from the original Vita game at all. In hindsight, I would've tried purchasing it last year to finish the set. Anyway, after the remarks about a Vita game squashing a PS4 copy inside the same padded mailer, I'll begrudgingly try out the box this time to maximize any needless replacement scenarios and I'll post some feedback if they'll help anyone out with future decisions.

Never even remotely confirmed. LRG is only doing PS4 and Vita games as of now. No other console yet. There's also the issue doing Nintendo games as they are region locked platforms
We do know that a Japanese title has been momentarily approved to receive a PC release with Mighty Rabbit to possibly kick off their adventure on the computer front, but they iterated it won't be part of the Limited Run brand. A recent interview commented about a game they were planning to release that had an ancient set of source code that made it difficult to whether they could bundle any associated DLC with the respective title as well. I'm genuinely curious over what type of platform the initial game was released on before the porting process began.

I think that was more for their own physical PC release (like Indiebox does), not that they were porting a game.

Got a loose disc with the lost sea.

I've purchased every game so far and this is the first that has arrived loose so I'm a little bummed since I don't open them but oh well.

Loose discs seems to be a PS4 issue in general, probably made worse by being shipped long distances and bouncing around in that process. I just imported a few Asian PS4 games and 3/4 had loose discs. Not that I care personally and I hope I will have time to open and play them all but I do understand why it's annoying for more hardcore collectors. Feels like something Sony is unlikely to address too since it's likely a very small percentage that cares because disc damage is probably impossible inside these cases with blu-ray discs.

Octodad finally arrived all the way to Australia and as my first PS4 purchase im suprised the disc wasn't loose.
It was my first time playing this awesome game and I'm super keen for Lost Sea/Xeo to show up

I know this is a complete side-point to LRG's aims, but man, they're doing wonders for my Vita memory card. So far between Octodad & Oddworld (two games I had on it already) they've freed up ~ 1.7 GB of space for other games, which is nice :p

Have not been following the news but what happened to the game that was supposed to be on sale tomorrow? Can only find one on the site for the 29th now..

Finally got Octodad with no loose disc but had to pay € 10,47 of custom duties, is it really necessary to declare the full value? Even the value of the check list card was declared <.<
$ 1-2 less would make these package custom duties free in my country.

I don't think that's possible since it's illegal AFAIA.

Yeah, We all went through this issue already. Items will now get declared at value.

$119.99 bundle incoming.

LIMITED RUN #14: BREACH & CLEAR FRANCHISE BUNDLE

Product is COMING SOON. Check description for details.
This title will be released on July 29th, 2016 at 10AM EDT. Due to the extremely limited quantity, this will not be offered in more than one batch.

This bundle contains the following:

Limited Run #1: Breach & Clear (Vita)
Limited Run #14: Breach & Clear: Deadline (PS4)
Breach & Clear: Original Soundtrack CD
Breach & Clear: Deadline Original Soundtrack CD
Breach & Clear: Deadline "Battle in Harbor City" Print
Breach & Clear: Deadline "Medlab" Print

Both prints are exclusive to this bundle and will be individually numbered (50 of each were produced in total). The original Breach & Clear game for PlayStation Vita is from our last remaining inventory of the game's initial run. As such, only 30 franchise bundles will be available. This is a large portion of our remaining inventory so it is not possible to offer more (we do not, and will not, reprint our past titles).

The Breach & Clear soundtrack being offered here is not exclusive to Limited Run.

WARNING: This item is limited to ONE per customer. If you have previously ordered Breach & Clear for Vita, we reserve the right to cancel your order to allow new fans a chance to get the game. The intention of this bundle is to try and get Breach & Clear into the hands of those who missed it.

Feels a bit unfair that I might get that bundle cancelled if I order it because I was a loyal customer from the start and already bought Breach & Clear Vita. Feels like I should at least get a chance at the exclusive prints, even if I'm (fairly) not eligible to buy Breach & Clear Vita.

So, I don't know if this has been brought up already, but when I played Octodad today the trophies seemed to be in Japanese. Any reason for this and any way I can fix it?

edit: So I found this on the previous page:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=209741625&postcount=5495

What is your system language? What's happening there is that Octodad doesn't have trophies in your chosen language and for some reason the default is JP instead of english. Happened to FFX in the past, where the game only had trophies on English (US) but not English (UK).

Problem is my system language was already on English (United Kingdom). I changed it to English (United States), but no joy with this either, lol.

Did, no dice, still Japanese trophies.
Well then I don't know. This usually happens when your system language isn't supported and it defaults to something else. I'm pretty sure Octodad has English trophies though, so maybe it'll fix itself after you get another one and it has to sync again.

There was someone else with that issue 2 pages or so ago but idk if they fixed it

Do you REALLY need a B&C print in your life?

Way too expensive for my taste. Not sure how much Deadline will cost, but if it's $25, that would mean the 2 soundtracks and 2 prints will be $70, lol. And pretty crappy that previous buyers of B&C Vita "might" have their orders cancelled, and thus be cut off from this bundle.

I have no interest in the soundtracks and prints. ><

We all know theyll sell out regardless.

No, I don't REALLY need it. I'm just saying there is no reason why people who bought an unrelated product should be blocked from purchasing this one (the special prints, not Breach & Clear Vita). Not a big deal to me but I dislike the practice.

We're allowed to pick up two copies of each game again? I'm not a fan of this approach since it will make it even easier for scalpers to hoard them.

If you just want the prints and we do cancel an order, we have 20 extra print sets we will be able to offer folks in that situation.

Pricing the bundle was a conundrum because if it was too cheap it would just invite resellers and scalpers. We have to bundle in value add items that would appeal to collectors but not necessarily resellers. We want these final remaining Breach & Clear copies to go to fans, not eBay.

Seems fair to me.

Just checked ebay prices for B&C Vita. God Damn.

Yeah, it was a bit off-putting at first, but i respect the way you are doing this. I'm sad it may still get scooped up by scalpers, but i'll be trying to get one come the 29th. Only game we've missed, love to own it and give the money to you guys to support!

I totally understand the pricing conundrum, and at that point it makes sense to add more value by making it a complete package. I think it was a good decision overall.

The alternative was to basically take applications and decide yourselves who would get the privilege of buying it :p

From what I can see I'm not the only one to have games turning up with damaged cases and loose discs inside. I tweeted the guys at Limited Run Games to no reply.

I'll try emailing Douglas as well.

So far:

Oddworld (PS4): Loose disc
Futuridium (PS4): Loose disc and damaged case.

I would really like to keep these games sealed however I prefer opening the package up and securing the disc than having it moving around there and gathering scratches overtime. Yes, blu-ray discs are more prone to scratches but not 100% safe.

Received Octodad today. Same case. Loose disc, damaged case, damaged insert. PS Vita game was fine.

I hope LRG change YODEL otherwise I'm not ordering again. Here is my tweet with images

That's bad :( I got my Vita copy of Xeodrifter today (from Yodel) and thankfully I've not had any issues with the Vita games so far. But I don't feel especially safe knowing its Yodel delivering the games, I hope Soldner reaches me ok.

My Vita copy was fine. Thankfully Vita cases are more hardened and more robust overall. PS4 cases are more fragile.

I wouldn't worry for future PS Vita orders. PS4 though, very worried.

Yep, I've said it before but this last batch of PS4 games are definitely the last one's that I'll pick up unless something I really want comes up, it's probably a good thing to stop trying to have a complete collection anyway with all the talk of more and more being released.

I know it's out of LRG's control how well the discs sit in the case but out of the 6 PS4 games I've had from LRG 4 of them have turned up with loose discs (Lost Sea AND Xeodrifter both had loose discs when they arrived yesterday), Vita games have all been fine thankfully. I even stopped buying the protective covers because what's the point when the disc is flying around inside anyway.

Just picked up my Octocads from the post office, my first loose disc and now I'm an extra €22 lighter. With Xeodrifter + Lost at Sea still to come I'm seriously considering just putting it all up on Ebay. I liked going for a full collection, but when I need to pay this much extra every order It's just not viable anymore.

Netherlands, there have been fees since the undervaluing stopped and I believe that's the case for most of (Western) Europe. I don't mind the regular import tax, but (as mentioned before) you need to pay customs for their time as well, and that's a lot over here.

If we increase shipping for The Netherlands to include customs would you be okay paying that?

new announcement (unless I missed it)
