Good question. The game is just a remake (? or enhanced version ?) of ch 2 though, afaik.

Huh. I dunno about this one. Only being Book 2 is a bit of a bummer, and I did try a bit of the first game and wasn't a massive fan.

I've wanted to buy Dragon Fantasy 2 for some time but it seems only the bundle goes on sale and I already played the first game so it has felt a bit overpriced. For a retail copy though I'm willing to pay more. Good announcement for me.
Still hoping we will get more "top indies" eventually and maybe something from the mid-size Japanese publishers too. Axiom Verge, Salt and Sanctuary, Drinkbox anything, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Transistor, LIMBO, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Downwell, Risk of Rain, Rogue Legacy etc. Stuff like that.

If I'm thinking of the same game, it was actually released on the PS3 in physical form under the name "Lost in the Rain" with English support in Asian territories.

"Special Edition" usually means it includes some DLC nowadays.
You need at least "Collector's", "Limited" or "Ultimate Edition" in the title to get anything beyond DLC. ;-)

I'm convinced there are many of us. Sonic 4: Episode 1 & 2 for that matter as well even if it wasn't anything amazing. The ship might have sailed for that one though.
I most definitely would. The handling fees are the problem, not customs.

I don't understand why this version is not selling faster. Personally, I like the cover better then the first run and the PSP case is going to be a nice oddity. Plus, the first 3000 are going to be (granted slightly) different and individually numbered. What's not to like? I could even see this one becoming rarer or more popular then the first run. Maybe I'm getting delusionnal?

Colloquial, but someone on another forum I talk to is really miffed that they said the original run was limited and now they've done a second.
I know it's separately numbered and all, but still. Personally doesn't bother me. I'm holding out for a reprint of the Vita version anyway.
