i don't care so much about what # mine is. I'd rather stick to my budget for the week and wait til payday! :D

Yeah, you're going to get the Steam key much earlier than the box. You'll probably get a Steam key this week whereas the box will arrive in December (we need time to manufacture, assemble, and ship all the boxes after sales close on the 20th).

Can you say if we're getting a Deluxe key or a Regular key?

Wait, the order number is the designated copy?

no, we're just figuring out what number we might be based on each other's order numbers (if someone is 100 spots lower than you with their order number vs. your order number, your game's number probably won't be in the first 100)

My order # was 47772 and I got it in about ~20 seconds before the clock hit 6:01, but it looks like at least one user in this thread is already 12 slots ahead of me and I thought I did mine quite fast, so do with that information what you will!

Man, kinda upset I got the time wrong! God damn it, timezones. Though really, I shouldn't be upset, because I got a preorder in, but I wanted a low number. ;-;

Heh, I wouldn't be surprised if the PC reviews were equally as polarising. Waiting a few days isn't a bad idea tho.

I really wouldn't judge this on reviews. It's going to be insanely polarizing. The game is ridiculously tense and tosses you into the black Cthulhuian depths of an insane storyline that is 70% text, and lots of it.

Just got confirmation that you'll get a deluxe key (which is actually two keys - one for the game, one for extras).

Woaaah, I wasn't expecting a deluxe key! That's a pleasant surprise. :)
Really excited for the box set by the way.

I'd be curious how many orders there will be from Japan! The game of course has quite a fanbase in Japan, so I wonder how many of them will go to the trouble to order this through an English website. Though, conversely, there's plenty of westerners who import special editions from Japanese sites, so I imagine there'd be some.

EDIT: (I wonder if Suda's getting #51 . . .)

good looking out!

today i spent more on this one game than my entire steam library combined over the course of six years, you guys put together a very excellent value-filled package.

For those interested, I've read The Silver Case was a sort of prequel, or at least happened in the same universe as Flower, Sun and Rain, another game I've got on my todo list.

I'll wait to read some reviews before buying. But I'll probably end up buying it.

How do you even sell easily a Steam key, by the way ? On a website like G2A ?

No definitely don't use G2A. NeoGAF has a great marketplace itself with very low risk of scams/fraud

It's also connected to killer7. The Silver Case, Flower, Sun, and Rain, and killer7 all form a trilogy of sorts.

So what's the first order number LRG? ;)
I realize thought that really low numbers are likely reserved for VIPs.

Don't want to spoil the surprise! We sent out the lower numbers on the SMRPG vinyl to customers so we may do the same here.

This is selling beyond our expectations but it is still on track to be pretty rare when all is said and done. I wouldn't sit out and wait if interested as I don't think many will be making it to eBay.

That is fantastic to hear! I really hope that you and Grasshopper collaborate again in the future. Really reassuring to see there is still a demand for classic "kill the past"-era Grasshopper.
