Limited Run Games - Putting digital games into your hands

So the Skullgirls box- will it have the LRG numbering system on the spine? Or is this published by LRG but considered separate from the main run?

The slipcover has the new art, and the art for the game package will be reversible to have the same art as the slipcover if you like.

That's awesome!

Will there be a standard edition? I don't really want to pay for a soundtrack and book I won't use. If so will the standard have the slipcase?

You have to realize Skullgirls digital is a $25 title, so a physical LRG release would already be $35. All you're getting as "extra" is the soundtrack for $5. The book is just the manual.

I would honestly rather pay less to get it without the soundtrack that'll probably sit under my bed and get dusty with my Ar no Surge Plus and Atelier Escha Plus Limited Edition boxes until I decide to move them somewhere else or throw them out.

I don't need it either and would prefer it separately like with the other releases. Just saying the difference in cost isn't that big if we go by the usual LRG pricing.

I'll just put it on eBay or something for 10 bucks

Yeah it's more that I want to play and enjoy the game but I don't collect soundtracks and I would rather someone else that really wants it have it. If the bundle is the only option I'll buy it because I want the game but the CD will sit in a draw for the rest of time. I guess I could give it away though

11/14.

And we'll let you know when it hits 10k copies - not sure if there will be a counter built into the site, or what. Still working that out.

And production should begin shortly after the pre-orders close, when we know if the Japanese voices are going in or not.

As for when they'll ship, I'd expect early January.

Thank you for the answers!

I went and looked at my old Play Asia order and that Skullgirls came with nothing, only one set of voices (as well as a reversed X/O like usual), for $41.99.

Definitely refreshed my perspective.

Maybe a $40 Vita release can get us some $40 duo carts too.

Managed to successfully secure both Shantae games in the morning wave. I've heard plenty of good remarks for the property so I look forward to the possibility of walking away with similar thoughts. With the rarity of the original GBC installment lingering in the retro realm, I think it would be an awesome effort to see it re-released and bundled in a future game like the MSX2 stuff was made available for the Metal Gear franchise. I know. Wishful thinking to gather every part thus far under a single platform.

So the Silver Case PS4 is basically the same but you get a poster too.

Really wish they could have waited longer so I didn't wish I held out.
Actually, I'm tremendously excited for NISA handling the Sony version. I've had downright smooth experiences with their online store. Everything has always been neatly packed inside the shipping boxes and games have usually arrived in advance of the street date. Hopefully my splash of praise doesn't jinx my future orders, but I truly am glad they announced the limited edition content soon rather than later. As a consequence, I've been seething with regret over the PC version purchase. I hardly collect computer titles in the first place and I thought the possibility of the console port would be further down the pipeline. It's going to be a somber two months waiting for a package that I no longer desire to own. I've been in a cyclical debate over how I want to dispose of it. Rarity and Steam accessibility doesn't hold any weight on my end.

Here's a look at everything Skullgirls will have to offer come Monday:
I've been waiting for a physical copy of the game for nearly half a decade. I'll gladly sink some cash as soon as the link launches for the PS4. Hopefully 505 Games will work out a retail package for Indivisible sometime in 2018/2019, too!

Maybe a stupid question but for us international folks:

Will we be able to order "Skull Girls" and "Volume" together on Friday? As in, one order for 15$ shipping? If so, how would that work? Would you hold "Volume" till January or whenever SG ships?
According to an earlier post, pre-orders for Skullgirls run through November 14th so it should be available alongside Volume later next week and, yes, I believe the later game will be withheld until both titles can ship simultaneously. I base this remark on a disclaimer from the Silver Case PC page which states that any additional material purchased with a pre-order "will not be shipped until the [pre-release item] is ready."

For Skullgirls, will pre-orders be charged when made, or when shipped?

After a few games $15 shipping for a $25 game really hurts... I wish they could let us choose a cheaper shipping option with no pre-paid customs.

Completely agreed. $15 is quite a bit for a single game in a poly-packet.

I don't think I saw an answer to this question, but is Skullgirls going to be individually numbered?

I'd really like to know this too.

Indivisible will have a retail version, and once we get some first party paperwork sorted, we'll be able to reveal the campaign-exclusive LE package we've put together.

Which, if I do say so myself, is even nicer than this version.

So why not just do a 6k Vita run?

Because they want to let everyone who wants a copy have it. Also this lets them possibly get the jp voices. Why do you care if the game isn't limited? If you want the game get it even if it sales 10k total it's still not a huge print run or anything. Hell I have Valkyrie Profile 1 and it is considered rare with probably 70k or 80k copies.

Can't wait to see that, glad to have backed it. Hopefully we can hit this goal for SkullGirls too, I'm psyched for it!

Damn those Skull Girls games are mighty attractive. Current exchange rate says $39.99 USD is $53.57 CAD. Oh god, and I want to buy both versions.

I'd like to know this too. I've never ordered from LRG before.

I'm glad there's also a possibility for a Standard edition. Although I find the cover unappealing... Am I the only one to find it a bit cheap ? :x

Anyway I've tried and it appears they don't ship to Europe... These are hard times for me, between that and all these Gamestop games I can't import :(
And the game is not listed on NISA Europe website.

That would be neat ! I'd be totally ok to wait Volume a little if it means I'll save money on the shipping :D

I underestimated demand too.

Given the IP and it's popularity and the "collectible factor" of the genre it's one of those instances where I wouldnt be SO surprised to see a reprint in time.

I'm pretty sure LRG have cancelled orders previously if they could figure out who the sellers were who bought more copies than they were actually entitled to (whether using different cards or not). I'm not bothered enough to check eBay listings but I'm sure it's something LRG are interested in if they can easily identify resellers.

Please dont do that.
You might inadvertedly run into some of this thread posters.

I'm assuming the pre-orders will be open for at least a week, have LRG said what happens if you put Volume and Skullgirls in one order? Don't wanna try it and my order gets canceled or something.

Orders are open until the 14th. If you buy Volume and Skullgirls together, nothing will ship until Skullgirls is ready (in January or February).
