Looking good. But wait, the manual not included inside the game box? That would be lame. Also, how many tracks is included in the soundtrack?
 
I just checked the page for Shantae Pirates Curse and it let me process an order just now. Was that an error?

I hope it doesn't get canceled.
 
Woah Skullgirls will be $40? Damn. I would've bought at $20 (for supporting licensing of the Japanese dub) but $40 is going to be way too much after currency exchange. That's too bad.
 
Maybe a stupid question but for us international folks:

Will we be able to order "Skull Girls" and "Volume" together on Friday? As in, one order for 15$ shipping? If so, how would that work? Would you hold "Volume" till January or whenever SG ships?
 
Just got it. I can't believe both are going to sell out in under 10 minutes!

You guys need to put a reserve timer on stuff in your cart similar to Tickettek/Ticketmaster so people adding it to carts actually get the item and don't get the 'This item is out of stock' which i almost got.
 
Shoot, slept in this morning, then totally forgot now and only just placed an order.

Missed Risky's Revenge but atleast I got Pirate's Curse. Guess I'll have to scour eBay for the other one.
 
International shipping with tracking is super expensive but it doesn't increase the price much by adding more items. I bought four copies of Shantae in total and the shipping came out at $18 USD which seemingly is just $3 above what one copy costs to ship ($15). Edit: to Canada.

I buy together with a local friend when possible and it saves me quite a bit of money.
 
Oh crap slept through my alarm, woke up at :08 past the hour and inventory was already at the 0-10% range. Added both to cart and tried checking out but got an error message saying there was no stock.

Went back to bed disappointed, and decided to try and click the Checkout button one more time.

It actually went through!
So happy because this is the first release I am actually really excited about personally.

Well since they've increased the shipping I've only ordered 2 games at once, but I'm pretty sure it's still $15 for one game because back when it was $11 that was for 2 games and for just one. I'm hoping they find a way to decrease the shipping costs in the future.
 
Managed to get The Pirate's Curse. It's my first Limited Run game. I was kind of surprised at how fast they sold out this morning.

I'm totally going to be a terrible person and open and play it though! :p
 
I really wanted the two Shantaes. Been looking forward to them since the announcement. Then I didnt get them.

I am pretty salty right now.

I made sure I got them by setting my alarm five minutes before the system went up. I was on my computer one minute before they went on sale and just reloaded them until I could buy them.

Not optimal and kind of harsh, but at least I managed to get my copies.

I kind of wish they did more of a preorder system for like five days or whatever and checked how many copies people wanted or something to that degree. I missed out on Saturday Morning RPG because of that.
 
I got my Shantae, but this is why some people prefer an open preorder campaign that gives every fan a chance to get a physical copy if they happen to want one, rather than marketing them as rare collectible items.

Even though I'm not into fighting games. Bring on Indivisible!
 
I'm pleasantly surprised how quickly Shantae sold out. I though with 6K each, it would take a while. I guess I underestimated the fanbase. Kudos to LRG.

There's plenty of ways to have multiple copies without breaking the rules. Resellers will always exist, it's part of collectables. It's not anyone's job to police what people do with their purchases afterwards.

I'm pretty sure LRG have cancelled orders previously if they could figure out who the sellers were who bought more copies than they were actually entitled to (whether using different cards or not). I'm not bothered enough to check eBay listings but I'm sure it's something LRG are interested in if they can easily identify resellers.

You don't need to publicly link eBay sellers for that though. Send them an email if you're really concerned about it for some reason

This guy may be legit and just get some people pestering him because of that. It's really none of our business
