This is a vid that popped up on my feed like in March. I think there are new bits of gameplay there.

As of confirmed newest info on the game:

The team suddenly expanded to a big size and there basically were too many cooks in the kitchen and constant ideas that they lost initial vision for the game and recently downsized to have a more coherent vision as of what the game they want to make.

Also they switched from UE4 to UE5 in mid-development which sounds like a potential headache. This could be what introduced low framrates on newer bits of gameplay.

TL;DR: Probably development hell.

I also read that Sony was pissed at them for constantly delaying the game and that they have soured the relationship they had with Sony, if there was any.
