Live Action Pinocchio Teaser Trailer

You mean that movie with the realistic looking animals that lack any kind of expression, which was the best thing about the original?

How?
I said decent lol not good. It was their best live action, compared to the others it at least had some moments.

"I'm a real boy" is a rather problematic statement these days. What's a real boy these days? Why can't girls be real boys? Does it mean that being a "real boy" is preferable to other self-identifications? Why can't Pinocchio be happy as a wooden non binary puppet?

Ohhh, I can see a scene where Geppetto is trying to attach a little wooden penis to Pinocchio. We have a shot from behind Pinocchio, between his legs. A little wooden wang falls to the floor. Geppetto sighs in frustration. Cut to Pinocchio reaching forward, placing his doll hand on Geppettos shoulder. "It's ok Papa, I'm STILL a real boy..."

Conversely, Pinocchio gets turned into a real kid, immediately whips it out and pees all over the nearest wall, "FINALLY, I'm a real boy!" as he slaps the rump of the closest girl doll.

I'm curious which direction Zemechis will go :P

I am really confused by this trailer. Live action but with really random CGI that tries to be realistic but artistic? I will say I am not a fan of these 'live-action' remakes as it is just lazy rehashing. But wow this trailer was a mess.

Really surprised they didn't tease either a close-up of Pinocchio or seeing his hand move. Make me think something is really wrong and they are working to fix it.

So far it looks more like Gepetto show and what's with that bald fairy? She can be non-binnary but she should be friendly not creepy looking.
PS Shrek's Piocchio is still the best one.

I came in to say that I wish they would stop diminishing classics by rehashing them for a quick buck, then I saw the bald black Blue Fairy for a story set in 1820s Italy. Peak modern Disney, borderline satire.
