A LBW-style MM game would really be something. I'd be all for that. With regard to Metroid, if they could make it a Prime-style game I'd be cool with that as long as it controlled smoothly, but I think my preference would be a 2D Metroid vs. a 3D one.
Wouldn't it be amazing if they added the extreme cellshaded black shadow in the remake? Like in the artwork.

This E3 has been great for Wii U, but pretty underwhelming for 3DS thus far. Literally not one new first-party announcement yet; the Fantasy Life localization is nice, but the biggest news otherwise is the Smash delay.
So hope this delivers, and hopefully with a game coming this year.

Grezzo hasn't been making a full game for 3 years (they've done StreetPass stuff). Either they show it this E3 or they announce it in a Direct.
It's a good idea to remember that MM is not as "untouchable" as OOT was when OOT 3D was being developed. If they fucked with OOT in any way other than what they did, then there would have been an outcry.
They can REALLY shake things up in a Majora's Mask 3D. They can change the art style drastically, make it far darker, add new dungeons, new quests. If they've gone that route (which hopefully they have), then damn right it's enough for the entire roundtable

OOT 3D looked just like the concept art for the N64 original. It was perfect. If they take the inspiration from Majora's Mask's concept art, we'll end up with this glorious art style:

I disagree, in a way, they butchered Link a little bit. Why couldn't they use the Link models from SSBM? Those were the N64 Links in higher res just like the art.

The only Mother game I can conceive being forthcoming is, of course, Mother 3, but since it's a GBA game and Nintendo's basically shut down the idea of GBA games on 3DS, I can't see that being the big announcement. I guess it could be Mother 2 for the 3DS VC?...

The 3DS page was filled with games like Star Fox. MGS3 post conference so we knew about it right after the conference ended.
I remember searching for 3DS news right after that conference since I was a bit hyped for it lol
I don't really like the Prime series, but Super Metroid is the epitome of what every game should strive to be. It's incredible.

Xenoblade Chronicles pushes the polycount limit on the Wii to the max with those environments. The 3DS absolutely cannot support it without severe downgrades to the geometry...which would ruin the game.
Unless I'm misremembering, Kid Icarus Uprising was the only 3DS game Nintendo showed off during the actual 2010 conference and details and screenshots of various other games like Mario Kart, OoT3D and Animal Crossing all came later.
Also, I kind of think that a Majora's Mask remake is one of the most disappointing things they could do. Over the last few years, we've seen two Zelda remakes and a sequel set in the same world as A Link to the Past. Plus we've had a new Zelda reveal yesterday and Hyrule Warriors will be coming out this year. But maybe I just feel this way because I'm not the biggest Zelda fan and I really want a new Metroid.
