They're not, at least not the programmer-less Kyoto studio. All they has worked on is art and design for Animal Crossing New Leaf, Pikmin 3, A Link Between Worlds and probably the new Zelda, too. They are a grunt work studio.

I'm not sure what's the disappointment here, people cry for Nintendo to create new IPs, and they do, even on this showfloor, and all of them look awesome for the most part like Splatoon and the robot game. The only thing I'm hoping this won't be is another Steel Diver type game.
