Halo killer is coming.
That's an awful lot of purple lighting. I wonder if there will be two announcements tonight.
In-depth look at the game tomorrow on the Treehouse stream.
No stream? What is this, 1995?
so where is this announcement steaming?
@jasonschreier said:Tonight's thing is a new IP, Nintendo says. Clearly a JRPG
Well, this isn't my opinion, but here goes:
I think many feel that Miyamoto has lost the edge that made him so good - many assert that Pikmin was his last good franchise, and that his most recent attempts have not lived up to the standard he set. Project Giant Robot and Project Guard were met with decidedly mixed reception - regardless of how early they are in development.
Furthermore, some see his influence as detrimental to the games he supervises, with the most common example being Paper Mario Sticker Star.
I've only really scratched the surface, but Miyamoto has received a fair amount of stick recently. Deserved? No idea.
It won't be there tonight

Maybe two announcements?
Well, that's significantly less exciting.
Not that I hate Miyamoto, but his work after Pikmin (especially on new IPs) has been kinda...well, hit and miss.
And why the hell did GAF just go down?
They said it at the end of today's stream.how do you know?
excite!One minute to go....
Oh, that was just a temporary outage when they revealed WiiU-exclusive Dark Souls 3, Vanquish 2, Kid Icarus Uprising 2, and Metroid Prime 4.GAF crashing nearly gave me a heart attack there for a second

It's failure won't be based on an arbitrary date, but rather it's library/offerings. I want more than just 90% of it's AAA lineup being Nintendo first party.b (At least nowhere near the amount of the DS).
The DS was a JRPG machine...and now, it's successor has a handful, in which half of them aren't even available in PAL territories.
NINTENDO DOWN RIGHT STOLE THIS E3

BOOM!!
I think this is a perfect summary. For me it includes Pikmin, but for most I think many consider that to be his last great game. I'd say it was Super Mario 64.
