Looking for a new office/gaming chair

Only two hours in? I think it's something you might be able to adjust to. Give it a couple weeks.

Been a day now, I still think it's a great chair. I just really want a headrest though. I'm thinking about doing something that some of you guys may consider sacrilege. I'm thinking about adding on a non official headrest to this chair. I'm thinking about getting something like this

Basically I'm thinking doing a custom job and drilling holes and screwing this headrest or something like it to the back on my own since Steelcase doesn't offer one and if they did it'd probably cost $200 or more. I know I would destroy the value of the chair and make it completely hideous in the eyes of many. But I'm stuck with this thing now and I really really want a headrest. Any suggestions, anybody want to dissuade me, or just go through with it?

Steelcase Leap (I like the platinum/black)

I have a v2 and the older v1. They're very similar, the older v1's arms are more padded.

My department at my work just moved into a new office space this week and we have these. The seat felt a little small compared to the other Steelcase office chairs we had before but I'm starting to find the 'sweet slouch' position on it. Once I settle into that it'll be all good. lol

At home I have a basic, no-fills, Herman Miller Taskpointe chair from when Costco sold HMs back in the day. It's definitively not an Aeron, but still very good...it's been working very well for me for so many years now.

I own a HM Sayl, good chair though don't get the rubber foam arm pads.

Another owner's vote for Sayl here, and I also recommend going easy on the options. I prefer it over the various Aeron chairs I sit on at work. It is also nicer looking.

Update: I just discovered the 'seat depth' lever on my Steelcase Leap chair at work...I can slide the seat forward. The chair doesn't feel small now. Couple it with reclining the back as far down as I can go I can achieve maximum slouch effect, so much that I can use the back as a headrest.

We definitely in business now...good times, yo. =D

I have a steelecase leap and I'm a hard sloucher.

I think the chair is great and it's help alleviate back soreness I had from sitting in that chair for hours.
