I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Hey GAF,
So I always thought those games must be cool as hell: Lots of interesting stories and characters, challenging combat, many places to explore and cool shit to find and an overall great sense of adventure.
They look like almost made for me but, for some reason, I haven't been able to beat a single one of those I've tried... except one. Here are my experiences:
So considering all this, my question is... which CRPG could be a good entry point? I'm considering Planescape: Torment or the Baldur's Gate games, since I already have some knowledge about how they work and there are also enhanced editions available, although I'm also wondering if I should play those or the original versions...
Another one I have available is Wasteland 3, but right now I'm more inclined into playing something with swords, magic and all that jazz.
Help me please.
edit: replaced Wasteland 2 with Wasteland 3. I don't even know which games I own anymore.

- DOS2: Pretty cool game. Put like 38 hours into it before dropping it for reasons I can't remember. I remember liking the difficult combat and the graphics.
- Pillars of Eternity: Noped the fuck out after some time with it. Couldn't stand the constant lore dumps about religion and politics. I don't have a problem with reading, but I think this game did it in a very boring way. Liked the gameplay tho.
- KOTOR: played this one as a kid. I think I had more patience back then, since I was able to beat this one. Star Wars setting probably helped a lot too.
- Fallout: Don't really remember much of my time with it, aside from getting a bit stressed about the time limit and some super-mutants fucking my shit up at some point.
