This special should be called "Remember when this show was still decent in the first couple seasons?" or "Lost is great, unless you've seen real television like <insert just about any HBO drama here>."
:lol

:lol :lol Atleast wait until the show is over to declare yourself a shithead, people.

The cereal scene with Ben, the orientation video, the season opening...

For all its problems, season 2 has some of the most iconic scenes in the show's history.

"I guess it's a good thing I'm not one of them huh? You got any milk?"

I posted about my love of this scene in the last thread.

Keeping Ben as the Others leader was one of the best decisions the producers ever made.

And the hatch is the coolest set ever.

:lol :lol It takes about a half an episode of The Sopranos or The Wire or Six Feet Under to realize Lost can't hold a candle to anything on HBO.

The only problems with Season 2 were the scheduling issues(constant gaps between episodes) and the fact that it was extremely character driven when most people were expecting shit to start getting real. The second really isn't a problem, though. S2 is in many ways the most important of the entire series.

While this may be true, this isn't the time or place for this discussion. Why bother dropping in on this thread if you're just going to shit on the show?

Entirely different styles suit different tastes. I've watched The Wire and Sopranos and have enjoyed Lost more. Am I gonna try to imply anyone that my opinion is factually correct? No, because that would make me seem like a shithead.

This is exactly how I feel.

Ben, orientation vids, others, 4 toed statue, Desmond, button, hatches, blast door map, Eko....just so many iconic scenes and instances in this season, moreso than any other season for me. Even with the lapses in the middle. Like I said in the last thread, I loved this season for being the most "genre" the show has ever been.

I beg to differ that there were no other problems with Season 2.

It's so simple yet apparently so difficult to comprehend such a thing.

Oh my god people are riled up with their sleeves rolled up. This is fucking AWESOME. :lol
