Only that it will have some info on Walt.Visceir said:I heard something about the dvd cut having 20 minutes of extra footage? Is there any info on that?
Loved the ending.

SalsaShark said:I kinda liked it. I really didnt know what to expect since like someone said, they dropped the whole sci fi aspect of the show and went with mystic faith and stuff, wich i did not like very much. But i guess i liked it. The overhead shots in the jack vs flocke fight as cliche as it may have been, it was fucking epic.
He just said Hurley could run things differently. And why would Ben even know?Zoe said:When Hurley asked how Desmond would get off the island.
Byakuya769 said:As opposed to gun shot wounds. He died from bleeding out after walking across the island, being lowered down by rope (and dropped), and moving rocks and shit. He himself said he could stitch it up with some thread.
GaimeGuy said:So the man in black, which is apparently the smokey bear monster or whatever and the guy who resurrected sayid from the dead, fights Jack in a battle to the death in the series finale, and Jack finds out that the alternate reality, which, as far as I can tell, has been seen in episodes all the time since like the 2nd season, is simply a singularity that exists outside of the realm of space time, where everyone on the island meets up with
.
I'm pretty sure the past. Jack says "that's the house I grew up in"Lion Heart said:Also, what was the Lighthouse about, were the images on the mirror from the X timeline?
Also, Jack said "go back to Penny and your son"Mr. Snrub said:Yeah, except you forgot to watch this entire scene.
Mortal stab wound=Jack thinking, "I am going to die, I might as well do something useful."
Desmond could survive EASILY? Did you not see him crawling in pain and passing out because of it? Who knows if he would have survived it...and that's why Jack did it.
Veidt said:Sorry I didn't read this earlier, it got buried between all the posts.
ON IT.
Byakuya769 said:"hey Desmond, I know you could do this and survive easily, but I think i need to do this. I was MEANT TO DO THIS."
"wait, brothah.. oh, well okay. You're pretty persuasive."
"See you in another lifetime."
Gaf - OMG, OMG brilliant!
normal human being - but that doesn't make any sense...
GAF -SHUT UP.
DevelopmentArrested said:That finale was embarrassing; really, what was the point of the entire show other than to ask question after question that would never get resolved. After the BSG finale, I figured Lost would go religious too; easier to explain fantasy with fantasy I guess? Utter garbage.
Korey said:Christian missing from his coffin on the island. Did they explain that? Because MIB doesn't take the physical body, he just appears as him. Unless MIB took Christians body and hid it somewhere.

Not high res (I'm working with what I could find online) but a lot better than the other one.
The version on my computer is 2048x2272 but tinypic resized to 1600.

MIB had a very long-running plan. That was him.Byakuya769 said:nope nor did they explain the webisode of Christian telling Vincent to wake up his son after the original crash, since he has work to do (which was cannon).
making up shit as they went along.
Alucard said:Yes, they had to cut 20 minutes from the finale, which will be on the DVD.

I guess I think the body being gone was a red herring. It was just gone. In the jungle somewhere, in the ocean, eaten by a polar bear.

Exactly. Jacks sacrifice was noble and justified.bill0527 said:I don't recall because I haven't rewatched it, but didn't Jack say something to him like "Go home and take care of your wife and child?"
Jack had absolutely nothing to live for, so it makes perfect sense that he do it instead of Desmond.
When he's being Locke, he acts like he is Locke, no reason to think Christian is any different. I think he takes on some of the personality of the person he looks like. I don't even think he is Jacob's brother, I think that guy died, and Smokey looked like him from then on. And it's canon.Byakuya769 said:nope nor did they explain the webisode of Christian telling Vincent to wake up his son after the original crash, since he has work to do (which was cannon).

IIRC, the bonus stuff isn't from the finale. Just extra stuff.
TheBranca18 said:MIB didn't need to fool the dog at all. Stop making up stuff as you go along. It was probably easiest for him, just like it was easiest to appear as John Locke after he died.

No, it's obviously supposed to be Jacob's brother, although your theory seems nice. Their goals are the same (to get off the island, etc).StuBurns said:When he's being Locke, he acts like he is Locke, no reason to think Christian is any different.
