Oh, the similarities didn't escape me, don't worry. But I'd rather not jump to conclusions.
I just found my DVD boxset of the first season. I didn't even remember I had it anymore.

Drealmcc0y can't blame anyone but himself on that one. He's danced with Lost detractors a million times over by now, so he knew what he was getting into.
The guy is seriously passionate/crazy for LOST, often letting criticism against the show get to him personally. It's actually what makes him an entertaining poster. Just wish he played it a little smarter on this particular occasion, and not cross the line.

There's loads though. Rewatching for the first time since it ended with the gf watching for the first time and there's lots of great moments. Mikhail's just been introduced and 'murdered' by Locke and his exchanges with Sayid are awesome. Just really enjoying doing it all again.

-"One of Us", end of the episode, with Juliet assembling her camp site while we see that Ben has sent her as a mole. Her emotionless glare as she ties the last knot of her tent has been etched into my memory for years.
-"There's No Place Like Home", Jack and Locke's last conversation on the Island. I just love it. "There's no such thing as miracles." Jack probably at his most dickish right there.

One of my favourites that hasn't been mentioned yet is Eko going in and apologising to Ben about the two people he killed. Seriously, if I was Ben and that scary dude sat down next to me I would immediately blurt out every detail of the truth about things haha.

3. In "The Constant" when Desmond gets his phone call from the freighter through to Penny.
2. In the final episode, the final fight between Jack and John. It was a long time coming.

How could Boone know what happened when didn't say anything?

I love this show, 2 years ago after the final season I marathonned the entire 6 seasons in 1 month!

Maaaaan, it certainly did. Real talk, aside from that incredible moment, that was probably the worst episode of the show. It's like the ending balanced out the rest so people would forget.
I'm noticing the more awful episodes this time around. Mostly the filler episodes. Par Avion lacked interesting flashbacks. It's less exciting this time around because I know she's Jack's sister but when that shit was on week to week...that was kind of a big reveal. It's followed up by The Man From Tallahassee, which I recall being quite good.

'Some Like it Hoth' is another underrated slice of goodness.

Man of Science of Faith, Orientation, Every Body Hates Hugo, The Long Con, 23rd Psalm, One of Them, Lockdown, ?, and the best finale of the series Live Together Die Alone... S2 featured some of the absolutely best moments of the show. Sure, they were spinning their wheels a bit towards the middle, but the last 4 hours were especially outstanding.
The last episodes of season 2 are particularly nonsensical. The Others' plan, Jack and Sayd's, the "let's not push the button" bit... Completely absurd.
