That archtype has been needlessly popular for eons in anime... I'll be honest, I liked it when I was younger, but now I realize that sort of person is just amazingly annoying, almost to the point where I would rather deal with someone who is constantly tsuntsun (at least they're consistently bitchy).
I actually like the archetype and I can see the appeal. But Maki isn't just popular, she's like the top girl. That's the weird part for me I guess.
Your problem sounds like classic tsundere vs modern tsundere (since you mentioned consistency). I don't mind modern, but I also prefer the classic version.
Granted, you can't do classic in something like Love Live.

You can't compare shows like this with a 9 girl idol show, which is supposed to create the "a favorite for everybody" scenario.
But whatever, I just wanted to say Maki is boring.

Nice job. I guess I was wrong to think that most people (even Japanese) would be cautious and not risking too much on something as new (and upredictable) as the medley. Or maybe they're going overboard to be safe. Gotta think of new strategies to not be passed by someone spamming EP up. Do you just play 60 LP all the time?

her VA is totally the best out of all I think.

Umi, Rin and Maki are all pretty great singers I think, Umi is probably my favorite voice actor out of them for sure though.

That right there. Though I think Rin/Rippi is the best out of the three. Mimorin comes at a close second. Maki would be second if her voice didn't sound terrible for some songs.

and I'm a month late now but I hope no one's doing Expert for Score Match because it's more efficient, pt-wise. unless you can S all of them, it's less efficient (and otherwise about equally efficient).
anyways, yoroshiku onegaishimasu~ oh, and while I would love to join in on the desp- *cough* joy on Jan 1, I only have 21 Love Gems right now and I can only predict getting to ~43 by then )= I really do need to improve my Smile team right now as that's by far my weakest team. even though I got 4 SR in a 10+1 pull (weeee) right before Score Match, none of them were Smile
EDIT: unless I can get some of those Love Gems from Daily Songs that I've been waiting to decrease in LP. I'l get back on that

Don't feel bothered by not drawing during new year. I also will not make it. I just want to pull a skiing Kotori. So can't wait until new year. Yeah when you get lots of SR its manageable to get S rank during expert. So stay in hard to get more points and when you are confident enough move up the ranks.Haha, that video was great. I just got the #1 ranked player in the event, he didn't even play.
Lol those top players don't have time to actually play. plus, you know when they fix their scores to "special" numbers like 444,444, they're failing their games on purpose to get the fixed pts. pay2win to reach the top!

redhairedking, the exact same thing happened to me too when I played top rank. I can only imagine how devoted they are to spending money on Loveca.

I don't think a majority of people play Expert beyond it using up more LP and being more fun, so no need to worry! Plus, you get to see a few members from here and hilarious things like Rank 1 purposely failing the song, hahaha.
I mention this cause at least 2 people specifically felt their scores were higher during Kotori SM and attributed that to Expert being available. but no one corrected them and I was still waiting to be approved to comment )=

Is this a weak event? I haven't spent any Loveca and I'm sitting around 2500th place which seems higher than normal. Wonder if people are getting their SR and bowing out early.

Rank 2000 and 4000 are pretty much on track with Kotori SM. Rank 1000 is lower than previous (about 5k pts behind) but everyone in low 1000s uses Love Gems and this event is a bit longer so it might go back up.
#1 is failing songs on purpose to get points, since it's more points per hour to endlessly fail on EX than it is to play it, though it's a massive burn of Love Gems.
Last I heard, they were aiming for 1mil points, but I don't think they will make it in time, so I think they're going for their next goal, which was 874,874 points.

These are crazy people, right? I mean this would be a not-insignificant amount of money in terms of Loveca to get to this point, right?
Also, the fact that the game turns on Skill popups after you transfer data to another device might be the most infuriating thing they've ever done. Every time I play at work or come home at work my first song back I get like a combo of like 70 because I can't see holds when the popups come up.
Relatable.
